Hi,
I'm looking at spending around $10,000 on SEO but my problem is this, If i pay one of these reputable companies to do SEO for me for awhile and everything goes well, i start ranking etc..
Then my cash runs dry so i tell them ''Ok, thanks for the top work goodbye'' I'm worried that its a possibility that they could go back over the work they did and start deleting it all, making my site get lower and lower in the rankings in the hope ill come back to pay them more to rank it again.

Now your probably going to say they aren't a reputable company if they do these kind of things, however me being no SEO expert how on earth would i even know they're doing this?

SEO is an ongoing process. In niches where there is less competition, you may be able to stay ranked without ongoing linkbuilding. However, expect to see rank "drops" if your competition is working to outrank you and you have no ongoing seo.

if you are willing to spend 10k on SEO then I think you have a good profitable niche..

believe me.. if you say bye bye to those guys.. some1 will outrank you within a month.
its better to make links constantly as seo is an on going process..

if you make 20k per month from the site then paying $1k - $2k per month for maintaining the #1 rank is nothing imo.

The answer is to hire me for 1k/ a month. I will constantly do SEO for you for 10 straight months :D

@OP: I think I can help you out. Please send me a PM with your skype ID and we can discuss your SEO needs and go over what I can offer you. Our firm does not delete client links regardless of whether or not you stay with us long term.

OP: There is a very less chance they would delete the clients links. Truly saying, I never think like your way when I gave my seo work to someone. However, while assigning your whole site project to reputed company, the same question you may ask by indirect way..

I suggest you hire a SEO consultant (rather than a company) so you can closely work on the SEO campaign. This way you can also learn how SEO works these days.

They won't go back and delete your sh*t because that would require them doing more work. Work that they would not get paid for. Even reputable SEO companies lose clients. They'll always have another client or project to fill the gap so doing extra work by sabotaging your stuff will be the last thing they'll do.

Unless, of course, you piss them off. So don't piss them off and you won't have anything to worry about.

I absolutely agree with mudbutt that SEO is an ongoing process. I believe that all providers on BHW will work well for you.

True. SEO in ongoing. If you spend 10 000 for that I believe you make some money out of this and you can reinvest some of your profit to seo again again and again ;)

Hy.

To answer to your question, no.. they will not go back and undo the work... They may remove your paid links but this is normal.

Now depending on your experience, and seening this question I assume is not so big.. you must understand that spending 10k on seo will not guarantee you that you will make money... even if that get you on the first place....

The IM and SEO are relative and spending money don't always mean making money....

So.. my suggestion is to get 2-3k and make some test... see the conversion rate, set-up a nice tested system and then use the other part to setup everything.

And if you are thinking that you make a big investment/effort and this will guarantee the success for ever then you got this wrong.... EX: You spend 10k and you are ok and the next month G lunch another update and you are gone from first page... your 10k will be gone and you need more money to get it there, maybe not 10k but a few "k" for sure.

don't do seo. spend that money with 100 girls. you will have much better feelings for the past, today and future...

Once you start ranking though, you'd expect your income to increase, so this newly found cash flow should fund the ongoing SEO efforts in the future so you shouldn't find yourself in this position....

If you have that amount to invest, find an expert that will work for you hourly instead of hiring an agency, then just use them at your disposal to make revenue.

You know the "drop in rankings" if you stop paying for SEO isn't always true man. It is sometimes, but it is also a line to keep you paying for the service. I have some websites I haven't done SEO for in like 6 months and at worst they have dropped like 1-2 positions but they usually fluxuate back up. You probably will need to continually do SEO but once your site authority is high from paying out that 10k, you can lower your monthly budget and just keep a gradual stream of links coming in.

Just make sure the links you are getting are not "rented" links. Ask them if the links are permanent.

I'm worried that its a possibility that they could go back over the work they did and start deleting it all,
Well, I guess in that case these are not REPUTABLE companies.....and for God's sake man, press that Thanks button, it won't fucking kill you use DEJAN SEO, they are reputable

Spending $10,000? You can do it on your own. Outsource the tasks on your own and learn a lot if you got time.

Doing it on your own or hiring someone in-house would allow you to have better quality control as to what is being done. Just make sure to find an SEO firm that will be marketing your site the way you want it done - for example, you might not want a company that just blasts out links everywhere without the thought of future implications they might have.
