Hi,
I have decided to spend all my bitcoins and looking for legit sites to do so. I stay in India, so it's diffult to convert it into cash. Any recommendations of trustworthy sites taking bitcoin? Thanks.

What exactly do you want to buy? You can convert it into PayPal and buy anything you want.
If you don't have PayPal then simply Google buy *smth* with Bitcoin and then check the website (ask here if someone had experience using it).
And be careful, there are too many scams these days.
 
why not just exchange it for paypal and withdraw from there?
 
this list is endless where you can spend bitcoin, what sort of products/services are you interested in ?
 
don't know why Indian banned bitcoin, it is so ridiculous. At my place, I can sell and buy with cash within 1 second, so pity the Indian.

The question is HOW MUCH $ in BTC you have and what you want?
Luxury products? Just small grocery shopping? Digital services?

Good job you ain't got any of that shitty olden days fiat shit that you can spend anywhere.

Just a thought (not that I'd trust many of them). Maybe you could put it into a casino and withdraw it in cash.
 
You said you live in India. So, can you not encash it from localbitcoin? I know atleast 2-3 guys over there who will give you good exchange rate (not market rate though.. and I last sold when btc was still $20Kish).

As for filing taxes, just show it as other income. Nothing is gonna happen to you, except for the taxes that you will have to pay.

I went on it...not sure how it works...does local bitcoins act as an escrow b/n myself and the buyer?
 
buy gold , all i am saying ...

your never go wrong , buy real gold from a proper shop that accepts bitcoin .

can trade gold anyware in the world .

I agree...but finding a gold shop that accepts Bitcoin is difficult

Sort of, yes. Until the seller receives money in bank/etc (has to confirm) the btc isn't released. By default, the transaction is reversed after some time. With that, lbc also tells u whether the seller/buyer has his/her identity confirmed (they have to upload a doc)

Recent developments tells that the opposite might come true and bitcoin might be allowed in India with some harsh riders.
