Hi,
I have decided to spend all my bitcoins and looking for legit sites to do so. I stay in India, so it's diffult to convert it into cash. Any recommendations of trustworthy sites taking bitcoin? Thanks.

What exactly do you want to buy? You can convert it into PayPal and buy anything you want.
If you don't have PayPal then simply Google buy *smth* with Bitcoin and then check the website (ask here if someone had experience using it).
And be careful, there are too many scams these days.

You said you live in India. So, can you not encash it from localbitcoin? I know atleast 2-3 guys over there who will give you good exchange rate (not market rate though.. and I last sold when btc was still $20Kish).

As for filing taxes, just show it as other income. Nothing is gonna happen to you, except for the taxes that you will have to pay.

your never go wrong , buy real gold from a proper shop that accepts bitcoin .

Sort of, yes. Until the seller receives money in bank/etc (has to confirm) the btc isn't released. By default, the transaction is reversed after some time. With that, lbc also tells u whether the seller/buyer has his/her identity confirmed (they have to upload a doc)
