I have spent the last few days working on my sites speed. I run self hosted wordpress on an aws ec2 server right now.
I have swapped themes, installed wprocket premium, images, compressed images and added cloud flare can. I have a 1.1 to 1.5 second main page and post pages now.
I was getting ready to add a cookie less domain but realized that I could activate https/2 on my server if I choose to. I am trying to determine before I do either which would give me the most improvement. The http2 or the cookie less domain. I have read several articles indicating cookieless can actually slow down due to an extra handshake if you are using http2.
Has anyone tested these and can give me any tips as to why 1 would be better?
