I wanted to express how excited I am about speaking at the UnGagged.com conference this year. Really looking forward to it and wanted to first take the time to express my gratitude for being chosen to speak this November in Las Vegas! It's going to be off da chain!
You may be noticing that this account is brand new but rest assured that I have been a member of BHW for a few years now. Since 2010 I believe. I have made several posts and have been thanked over 60 times. The posts I have made have been under an alias for privacy reasons.
Now let me share a little about myself. My name is Mark Ress the proud father of 4 beautiful children (9, 15, 21, 22 years old) with my lovely wife Jen "Jubilee" Rey. I am a former gang banger, drug dealer and hustler who dramatically changed his life by becoming an Internet Marketer. The title of Internet Marketer may not be the correct one because as an Online Marketer I've participated in and made hundreds of thousands of dollars in the following areas:

There are probably very few areas of Online Marketing that I have not been involved with and made money in over the years but of all those areas there are probably three that are my favorite and probably most lucrative in my humble opinion:
App and Web Site Flipping (Virtual Real Estate) - Creating Mobile Apps and web sites to flip for profits. If you need quick money this could be something you should focus on.
Info-preneuring - Creating Books, Courses and Information Products to sell online and offline. There are those local business owners who will pay a premium to have you position them as a local expert in their industry and what better way then establishing credibility for them via books and courses.
Affiliate Marketing - Promoting other people's products and services for a commission as well as launching my own affiliate programs for my own products. This has allowed us to do six figures in a single weekend due to leveraging other people's lists and customers. Great way for newbies to get into the game and cash in. There are always launches going on and new products to promote.
These days I have really been focusing 80% of my time, effort and resources on Mobile Apps/ App Flipping and Info-preneuring/Publishing. Why you ask? Because they are, in my humble opinion, a few of the fastest ways to make good money. They allow me to have what one of my favorite mentors use to call "More Money Freedom and Time Freedom.". Plus you can incorporate Affiliate Marketing into Mobile Apps and Info-preneuring very easily. Even in the Offline Gold area (Local Business Marketing) you can incorporate an affiliate marketing campaign and do quite well.
I have been invited to speak at several events which have had a focus on Affiliate Marketing, Driving Traffic, Offline Gold, Social Media Optimization, Virtual Real Estate and other related topics. I've often been given accolades as a speaker for my passion and for keeping it real meaning I tell it like it is without fear of repercussions from others in our field.
One of the last Internet Marketing events I attended as a speaker was Ross Goldberg's last Masters Internet Marketing Seminar held in Tampa Florida back in 2009. I was the top closer and speaker at that event and very proud of it because I told it like it was. There were some other speakers present at the event who hated on me a little bit for things I said but I wasn't there for them. I was there for the attendees. I was there to try and help them succeed.
Since speaking in Tampa way back in 2009 I've also spoken at my own events which I put on in Las Vegas and Ontario California during 2010, 2011 and 2012. Since then I've spoken at well over 100 local chamber events, Meetups, local business networking events, motivational seminars and work closely with gang bangers to try and give them some hope, a sense of direction and empower them through technology via our non-profit. I also sit on an Advisory Board for a local R.O.P. program, teach at the S.O.A.R. Academy and council troubled youth.

Jay Abraham, Ryan Deiss, Howey Schwartz, Dr. Mike Woo-Ming, Martin Howey, Lisa Nichols, Sherman Hu, Ross Goldberg, Loral Langemiere, Tim Gorman and several others. I've also worked with a few Hollywood celebrities which you'd probably know should I mention their names.
Coming from the concrete streets of East Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley a person with my upbringing was lucky to have survived beyond 18 years old. By the time you were 18 to 21 most of your friends and a lot of your family members were dead or in jail. Working with computers, software and the Internet changed all that for me. Now my mission in life is to teach others what I do so that they can improve their lives.
Currently with all the free time I have I go out to the local mountains and rivers gold prospecting and yes I am finding gold. It is fun and gets me outside back to nature. That way I am not staring at a computer screen gaining weight all day
I have spent hundreds on a sluice box, a high banker, pans and other equipment to find the ever elusive but pricey material. This is how I am currently defining fun with my family on outings hunting for gold at least once or twice a week. This is what working from home as an Internet/Online Marketer can afford a person. A lifestyle that is truly what you want and when you want it. Owning a few membership sites and continuity programs doesn't hurt either.
I love to coach, mentor and train folks in what I've learned over the years. I don't have patience for those with the "victim mentality". I always tell people that if someone like me can make it in this industry then so can they. I went from zero to hero in my community and family. From the bottom to the top in my niches banking riches. This isn't a fairy tale but my real life.
It IS possible for you to learn how to make money not just from home but from ANYWHERE! You can be in a Starbucks or on a sandy beach in Hawaii making good money online. All you need is the right mentor, tools and vehicle. It all begins with the choices you are currently making. Have they brought you to where you want to be?
