Hey guys, here's a short test to show how powerful Spamvilla's OCR is when combined with CB.
So after the Captcha Sniper vs Captcha Breaker comparison, I wanted to take it one step further. Captcha Breaker proved to be a really powerful captcha solving bot and it got surprisingly close to DBC. But still that wasn't exactly enough if you wanted to build tier 1 links.
So the quest was on to find the most effective tier 1 captcha setup that doesn't scale it's costs the way regular pay-per-captcha does. A setup that can be used on tier 1 links without the fear of missing out on too much links. A setup that would make you wet your pants.
The most recent choice for something like this was a combination of CB + Spamvilla's Recaptcha OCR. As you might have guessed, CB handles all captcha as it normally would and when it detects a reCaptcha, it sends it directly to the OCR. Since a good part of sites you would normally use in tier 1 uses reCaptcha, this sounds like a solid idea in theory. But how good would this actually be in real life versus a combination of Captcha Breaker + DeathByCaptcha?
This has bugged me for a while but I've quickly realized that it can be answered in a simple manner. And bored as I was, I decided to mock up a simple test.
Here's exactly what I did.
1. Setup 2 projects in SER: #1 used CB + DBC while #2 used CB + Spamvilla
2. Set CB to 5 retries, DBC to 2
3. Imported a list of 45,000 PR1+ identified sites to both projects (article, social bookmarking, social network sites)

4. Generated content on very similar keywords for both projects
After all that, I just ran them both and few hours later after they were done, here's what both of them managed to get out of this list.
Note that I used up about $10 worth of DBC credits for this test and Spamvilla's OCR is $30 / month so do the math yourself. Also note that the list used had 45k urls in it which makes project #2 only 2% worse!
While these results aren't anything spectacular, I'm pretty satisfied with this. It goes to show that services like DBC aren't as unbeatable as you might think. With something like this you can build massive numbers of tier 1 links much cheaper they you usually would while sacrificing only a fraction of your links. (and you can just build more of them for no extra cost to compensate for this loss)
For people building links to multiple sites as well as those selling SEO services to many clients, this is certainly good news.
