How can I check what spam links are linking to me?

you are want to look up your spam backlink?

I want to clean my back link profile and disavow spam sites that link to me.

Moz and SEMrush have this feature but I find it inaccurate. Simple thing like different language can trigger it while the link is actually quality.

Best check the link profile manually.

Anyway, these tools are only mimicking. We don't really know what search engines consider a spam.

I have thousands of links...I thought I saw a tool that showed potential spam sites a wile back...

There's no tool that would totally determine this,
Checking things manually is the only way to be sure of this,
If you do disavow by filtering the links using some tool like Moz, you'll run into mistakenly disavowing some decent ones as well,
Focus on building some good links overtime and you shouldn't have to worry about such links as they'll be mostly ignored

Good advice Ill keep that in mind!

I used to check the spammy links with the help of Moz. But I am not sure it delivers the accurate results.

ask john muller. I am not trying to be a wise ass, but that is the only accurate answer. No one besides him and google team, can tell what is a spammy backlink. if I were you, I would not worry about it. Shitty links get ignored.

Like hideath said, focus on building quality links.

can find out the bad link list using SEMRush, Moz & Ahrefs, Likes links from the list. You can submit disavow by plain text file

Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Majestic are handy for a regular checkup on your website’s health. And there’s no better way to fight spam backlinks.

some of the tools to find spammy links. can check by using Moz, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.

if you remove links that could hurt your ranking.
all these tools aren't accurate, so you run the risk of removing links that help you rank.
even if you have some spammy links, all that google does is ignore them, so i wouldn't worry.

I myself tried to get rid of this problem completely but I failed to totally annihilate it....
