Hi everyone,

a very competitive niche I monitor daily has since January had 2 positions always taken by redirecting affiliate domains.

It is the same owner for definite but basically he is ranking sites short term with what looks like guest books, blog comments and image comments.

They do not last long but hey it doesn't matter as he replaces the burnt ones with fresh ones weekly so is constantly getting the all important commissions continuously.

I am really interested to know if anyone has had any experiences like this? My long term SEO works well but I have been unable to replicate a spam tactic like this so far. (He ranks in days!)

I am testing all the time as I would like to be able to use the same method as a lead generator for clients.

Peoples inputs would be welcomed :)

You could accomplish the same with sape, it's no surprise.

Just copy his backlinking strategy for a test site and see whether it ranks for you.

Thanks for the replies guys,

His anchor profile is: 6 primary keywords | 1 blank anchor | two url variations

This isn't sape, on ahrefs some of the keywords appear like this: keyword - keyword

Isn't this what a trackback link looks like?

Hey mohsin,

long time no speak (on Skype) :)

Yeah I have been testing this with GSA, it's been 2 weeks with two testers but so far no joy at all, I won't give up on this but have you used all platforms or?

I'm Using Blog Comment, Image comment and Trackback Links For Spams..and Keep In Mind You Need To Spam More and More in Short Period of Time To get More benefits of Your Spam Campaign..;)

Yeah I have been testing those out too, I've not had any success so far but will keep trying, how many verifieds are you getting in say 3 days? are you setting any maximum OBL and PR etc?

I'm getting 100k+ links in 2 Days..I'm not setting any filter because It is just for a spam campaign..no need to bother about Pr OR maximum obls for campaign like this ;)

I noticed a guy (perhaps same person) occupying top position for few very competitive brand name keywords. He blasts few hundreds to thousands links daily, one page WP site, anchor text are keyword-keyword, in less than a month can reach top 3. Sometime i can see few of his sites on page 1, yes few sites. Once the site reach top position he redirect all the clicks to affiliate site. After few days he would remove the redirect and repeat the redirect after few days.

OK ,let me do it tonight and then i can tell if it works.

Great glad to have others on board :) am testing as well so lets make this a project! Does anyone know why these successful campaigns have: keyword - keyword? Is this trackback?

I've read about this sort of thing.

My understanding is that you spam the site, get it as high as possible and if it crashes, just 301 redirect it to an aged domain that you have purchased off of a site like expireddomains and repeat the process.

I would be fascinated to see if this works though, a part of me wants to do an experiment myself...

Yeah 301 will give a temporary relief from the inevitable sandbox with these techniques, I am running more tests from tonight so will let everyone know the results

No worries, I am sure the answer cannot be too hard to find, again if anyone else wants to jump in and test and discuss post here!

I'm testing out a similar technique of straight spam, no affiliate redirect though. That's a good idea, maybe i'll test that one next month, i'll let you guys know.
