The way things have been going lately with the big G, I'm starting to feel like every site is "temporary." How many of us had sites slapped silly that were once considered WH or "safe?" If you haven't experienced that, surely you know someone who has.
Today's WH site could be tomorrow's spam. The big G will arbitrarily decide what's good and what isn't and they'll let the chips fall where they may.
Seriously, at this point I am starting to wonder if churn and burn is the best long-term strategy! Who wants to spend countless hours building a nice "clean" WH site (or what we believe is WH) only to have it smacked to page 1000 of the SERPs down the road?
In the end I think G may be shooting itself in the foot since all these new black-and-white critters they are unleashing on us are discouraging people who would otherwise invest a lot of time and effort into building "good" sites.
I dunno. Maybe I'm just rambling, but I'm seriously considering getting more into the churn and burn game and just bobbing and weaving in the ring with G as the new smack downs are rolled out.
