How do I prevent spam emails?
Context: I am a freelance journalist and writer and I recently bought a domain and I made a simple one page website that hosts my information, past published work and portfolio. I also got a custom email [[email protected] format] and since I set up the email, I have been receiving upto 20 emails daily that mainly deal with apps and website making, mainly from Indians.
While I don't mind people doing cold outreach because I do cold pitching too, these emails are consuming the little 3GB that is allocated to my mail box and I fear that I may miss important emails because the mail box might be full. Yes, I do delete them but they are coming at a very faster rate and I don't regularly monitor the mail box. The domain is barely even a month old.
Is there any remedy please? I don't mind 1 or 2 but 20 is just too much.
Can I like lock my website from like being scrapped? I don't even mind it not being indexed because I only share the website with prospective clients only.
