How do I prevent spam emails?

Context: I am a freelance journalist and writer and I recently bought a domain and I made a simple one page website that hosts my information, past published work and portfolio. I also got a custom email [[email protected] format] and since I set up the email, I have been receiving upto 20 emails daily that mainly deal with apps and website making, mainly from Indians.

While I don't mind people doing cold outreach because I do cold pitching too, these emails are consuming the little 3GB that is allocated to my mail box and I fear that I may miss important emails because the mail box might be full. Yes, I do delete them but they are coming at a very faster rate and I don't regularly monitor the mail box. The domain is barely even a month old.

Is there any remedy please? I don't mind 1 or 2 but 20 is just too much.

Can I like lock my website from like being scrapped? I don't even mind it not being indexed because I only share the website with prospective clients only.

so why do you even put your email there when the clients know you before they know the website?

put in a better firewall defense

In cloudflare you could use tools that can detect advanced bots, such as SBFM
or create firewall rules to block requests that do not contain a valid referrer but that could lead to having too many false positives also

But honestly
what poverty email system is only giving you 3GB?
cold email pitches are tiny and most are text-based.
20 pitch a day isn't much either. You could also just set up a auto-delete sieve to get rid of cold pitch emails too.

There is a email client called thunderbird which you can train to remove spam on arrival
