The best way to promote your SoundCloud is to engage with other people.
In general: the more likes, reposts, and follows you give, the more exposure you will get in return.
If you are not a total newbie and your music isn't sounding like trash, then think about getting some backlinks.
- Ask bloggers if they can post your tracks to their blog
- Ask YouTubers if they need background music. They have to put your socials in the comment section
- ....
You can also get reposts for cheap. Target artists with about 5k-10k followers. Reposts in this dimension usually go for 5-10 bucks. This way the money is spent much better than in fake followers and likes.
I only know one black hat method to give a lot of likes to other people with a little script I've coded. This method works best if you got some social proof on your SoundCloud.
1. Use this link to filter out your target genre
soundcloud.com/search/sounds?q=*&filter.created_at=last_day&filter.genre_or_tag=ADDYOURGENRE
2. Make sure to scroll down a few times so a bunch of tracks are getting loaded. Usually they are loaded in steps by 10
3. Right-click and inspect a random element on SoundCloud so the dev section opens. Open the console and add the provided script.
4. Hit enter, enjoy!
Important: Don't do more than 90 likes at once! You might run into some trouble because of botting other ways.
I'm not using this method anymore but I thought I'll share it with you. Keep in mind that real engagement is the best engagement!

This is great! how do you control how many likes you give? Does it depend on how many accounts you load on the page?

Yeah. If you scroll down on the provided link you will notice that the tracks are loaded in packs by 10. Scroll down until the page has loaded 7 times. So you do about 80 likes.
I've added a counter that counts the elements that are getting liked. It puts out the value in the console where you've added the script. Try to remove "list.click(); ". That way the likes aren't getting executed - only the elements in the list are getting counted.
