Has anyone encountered this before?
I've found a decent domain to possibly register. When searching for domain.com it shows up first, but the cached page is actually a different website which has the same content (looks like it moved). The site hasn't got a 301/302 redirect though.
When searching http://domain.com this duplicate site shows as #1 instead.
So it looks like google has merged the sites without a 301 or 302 redirect and i'm guessing the link juice too. I'm wondering if I register this and change the content, would they become un-merged with the first site getting keep it's juice and ranking ability when re-crawled?
