I know I have control of it. It's a wordpress auto-blog with adsense.
 
He's got it listed on craigs list in Chicago for 50k as well.
 
Have you contacted the user on eBay? Also, how did you find out they were selling it in the first place?
 
I googled the site to see what had been cached. And the ebay and craigs list listings came up. I didn't report it to ebay but they haven't done anything as of yet. I haven't contacted the seller directly.

Maybe he will try to buy it from you, I saw the add, it even says donating to charity.
 
There you go, oin his ebay profile - mail him [email protected]. Seriously do yourself a favour, have record of your being aware of what he is doing and contacting him, in case some legal wrangle happens.
 
And go and set all the auto-renews and locks and everything at Godaddy, perhaps even email Godaddy support to get yet another record that you are aware that somethign funny is going on...
 
Feel free. However OP outted themselves. Takes all of 5 seconds to look at CL to see what Earthquake domains are for sale in Chacago. I know that rule, but as I mentioned, OP already outted it.
 
That is the correct domain. Apparently, he will donate 20 percent of the sale to charity. Again it's pretty odd. I don't know if godaddy can do anything about it. I am the owner of the domain I don't think there is any question about that.
 
Just wait and see what price he gets for it. I think he will soon want to negotiate a price with you but of course you will know how much he has 'sold' it for.

Then just stick up a page asking the buyer to contact you direct - I am sure they will visit the page after the auction.

Kinda strange this guy thinks he owns it tho...
 
Apparently someone made an offer on it already. I just sent the seller an email asking him to remove the listing or make an offer to buy it from me.
 
It's really strange. And especially given the apparent potential value, you really should take steps to cement and demonstrate your current actual ownership.
 
How so? Do you mean I should just register it for a few more years? It is locked with godaddy.
