You should create GKP for your Bussiness inorder to be in search results on Google

Is your website new? If yes then it should not take 3-7 days to index your root domain if you install wp.
If not then please check your robots.txt file and look for blocking your website from indexing to google/search engine.

Nobody can answer without knowing the background of your website.
How old is your site? Is it a blog or a business site? Did it appear in SERPs but recently disappeared, or it never showed up in search results? Did you submit your site in GSC for indexing?
There are too many things that can cause such a problem. It's difficult to resolve unless you identify specific problem.
