Someone please explain vero to me!!!!!!

i posted this on another forum, hopefully ill find answers on this one. being new to this ive learned vero might be a problem to me. could someone please explain to me exactly what vero is? are there actual human beings studying listings and their pictures then deciding an item is a fake and reporting it? or is it an automatic random thing that ebay does when selling certain namebrands? how is it possible to sell ANYTHING on ebay with this? does your feedback or past sales of the same namebrand play a role? does the amount of listings to list matter? i only list about 40 a week. any info on this annoyance will be of great help!!

If company ABC does not want their items sold on eBay all they have to do is ask eBay to remove item# 1234567890.
It does not mean that the item is a counterfeit item.
It means that company ABC does not want YOU selling their product.
This is why some people complain when truly Authentic items are removed from eBay under the VERO umbrella.
This happens ALL the time.

thanks for the reply. what im confused about is, so there might be 100 items of a certain designer, vero just decides to chose an item randomly? what about the other 99? it just doesnt make sense to me.

VERO is the company that owns the brands, Vero is not ebay

Say Ugg go on ebay and see someone selling 30 pairs of their boots, they email the Vero department at ebay and that listing is removed

this could also happen to someone just selling 1 pair , there is no logic

Ebay have to remove the listing or they could get sued if the offending item was found to be counterfeit

Most major brands are represented on vero however all do not police all the ebay sites

some will just trawl ebay.com and leave all the other international sites alone
