Someone please explain how this Spam Insta Account is VERIFIED?!!

The username is "Bauerhockeyturkey"

First of all this account has NOTHING to do with Hockey.
Second of all this account says he trains in Dallas Texas? But doesnt specify as to what he trains.

Third of all you look at what he posts and its all "Giveaway" Scams trying to get your information by making people think hes going to give them a free i phone.
Ive googled his little instagram and company and cant find any press articles, no Following online.... just nothing.

This guy is just spamming his little heart away in comment sections of bigger instagram accounts trying to lure people in with his verified account.
HOW DID he OBTAIN THIS ?

I believe verified accounts have lower rate limits so they can spam much harder than normal users, hence why they're so attractive to malicious spammers.

If someone hacked the account wouldnt it be easy for the owner to recover it?

Also Are you sure that is the account? The website you sent me does not seem like it connects to that instagram
