Some chaturbate models are stealing from affiliaters

When i first came in contact with cam sites, it wasn't Chaturbate, but a domestic site with strict rules. Models weren't allowed to stream at multiple sites at the same time. They weren't allowed to share any contact info, no phone number, no email address, no Skype, no nothing, not in public, not in private or else they got the boot. Chats were randomly monitored by site admins. They knew this, so every each and one of them followed the rules.

I gave you an example earlier on the thread, chaturbate.com/clara_chan, she openly tell viewers to sign up new account with specific username under her affiliate link. theres also another one telling users to clean cookie and sign up under her link to"support her", her banner was forced to make change however clara_chan still got her banner up, so yes, when your users watch show on main site there will still be problems

I swear with my life I ain't trolling or whatever, this also applies to those lesser known and more spammish websites. There was one occasion I found a video on xVideo of this webcam girl, she seems alright till she turned around and along her spine it was tattooed in Chinese " 2015 <town> <state> missing person case, and a very well designed "DEAD" below that where usually girls put butterfly tattoos. It's chilling.

Tracing along that video I also found some videos uploaded by accounts that obviously obfuscate their digital identities that posted videos where the girls are visibly perturbed about something and seems to be trying to commute a message, some with tattooed or marker-drawn stuff on their bodies in various languages.

I don't care if LE saw this, don't bother asking me for further details. I kept no records, and not interested to be involved nor willing to cooperate with any assistance. My life value more than anything else in this world, any questions will be met with my declination and declaring I'm bullshitting in this post.

I'm aware, but i wasn't talking about that. I was replying to what i quoted, that's why i quoted what i quoted. If models ask users to clear cookies and register a new account under them or they put overlays, that's an issue of course, but it's an issue, which is against the site rules, which can be reported as the Chaturbate rep suggested earlier in the thread. How fast or effectively the violators are dealt with is another question.

I guess all of us aware now, that there are many leaks, and until CB doesn't change their TOS drastically, there will be. You can play with CSS on self-hosted white labels (but only on white labels and only on self-hosted ones) to mitigate some of the issues like outbound links, overlays, but models are still allowed to sell or simply share their contact info, Snapchat, Skype, whatever and do private shows away from Chaturbate with users originating from Chaturbate. Until this is not a bannable offense, until the Chaturbate logo still turns up on streams in some desktop browsers and on mobile, until the chaturbate.com domain still turns up in emails sent to users, there will be leaks.

Chaturbate would need to do two things to close the biggest loopholes: (1) modify their TOS, so users can't get in contact with models outside their platform (ban all outbound links and contact info sharing), overlays, asking users to make new accounts are already against the rules, so that's covered, (2) then enforce the new TOS at a higher accuracy than the existing one is enforced. Then we woke up and realized, all of this is just a wet dream. lol

Chaturbate is not an agency, it's a platform for solo webcam models. They don't force anyone to work for them, they don't hold anyone captive either. They simply provide a platform to stream yourself online in exchange of money.

Most models are from poorer countries, mostly Latin America or Eastern Europe, where sex trade, women exploitation is a real issue. There are solo models, then there are big houses, flats, where many models work together and obviously all of those are run by someone. There's an article on vice.com about Romanian studios (they called these studios) and according to the article, there were 2,000 studios just in Romania at that time (6 years ago). If 10 models worked in each, that's 20k camgirls/guys working from studios in just one country. Mind blown. It's big profit too, a studio with 15 male models turns over 50k EUR per month according to the article. And those are guys, girls make twice as much.

I have not seen any of such videos you mentioned, but i can imagine, some of these models might not be doing this willingly. It's the adult industry, shady stuff is not a rarity. Sad, but true. This is very far from the subject of this thread though.

I wouldnt be too sure about that, me and other members of gfy have already reported clara chan(who asks users to sign up new account) but 0 responds, and this model been doing it for at least months now she even overlay the log in botton with her shit and cb done nothing
 
What i cant wrap my head around is the fact that the models are also stealing from Chaturbates bottom line. Why would any company/website allow someone to openly steal their profits?. Not everyone on the site came via affiliates. Normal people found the site on their own, created an account and are spending money which should be chaturbates profit. To then not do anything as webcam models get people like this to create a new account under their affiliate link and steal an extra 20% just does not make sense to me

Yeah I've heard of Romanian companies, seems that they are pretty shady but not well known. Not much of the west side can read Japanese /Chinese words anyway, and furthermore quite concealed. If you are really interested can search those videos that are generic names, or numerically numbered.
 
Dont let this thread die until we get confirmation these leaks are gonna be the new normal on chaturbate. Model still hasnt had this removed https://chaturbate.com/clara_chan/ . Im still reporting models and yous should too. Steve hasny been back online to BHW since his last post so think hes checked out on the issues
 
GFY is still very active on this issue and there are lot of affiliates that report this issue as well. Its definetely messed up and they will lose a lot of affiliates if that keeps on continuing and we dont get any response from them..

I just opened a thread about it too. I sent a list of models that are currently doing this, they are basically stealing affiliates earnings so they can have affiliate earnings + models earnings.
