SOLUTION to Google Penguin FOUND

my 2 cents

Big G "know" blackhat link building, but their algo. does not "know" how to read "quality content"
outcome = website with valuable unique content which users looking for got hit!

also since there is too many pages to scan Google relay on their DB, and this why we see old sites with 0 content rank #1

It makes sense. If G just sat around and did nothing it would look like a static company. All these "updates" may be nothing more than a case of the jumbles to appear like G is progressing with making the Internet a better place. I could be. Business is business after all.

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" (and Google) always brings tears to my eyes.

The point being? Or, to better phrase, "What is Google doing?"

Google is cleverly using Social Engineering for the purposes of throwing out smoke and mirrors. What is their objective? It's threefold:

(a). Their main objective is to increase the number of AdWords Advertisers, thereby instantly increasing their revenues. Clearly, these latest algo modifications have forced many IMers to sink money into AdWords to make up for their drop in the SERPs.
(b). Google is attempting to create subterfuge to ward off the Antitrust suits they are facing. If you are following that development, then you know that the FTC just hired Beth Wilkinson. Beth is a former DOJ prosecutor, who has never lost a case. When the FTC made that move, it was letting Google know that they are in fact going to be sued by the FTC much like the case of The United States vs. Microsoft. Google is also facing the same type of lawsuit in Europe. If you recall, when Microsoft lost that lawsuit, it opened up the doors for companies like Google to sprout up.
(c). These algo modifications are also part of a public social engineering PR campaign to discourage and confuse those who compete against Google. Who competes against Google? Anyone not paying Google for advertising!

In summation, this is a time and era SEO wise, when everyone must buckle up, remain calm and ride out the storm. Right now, there are not a lot of concrete absolutes but one thing is for sure; you should not altogether stop your backlink building campaigns.

this is quite interesting. Having worked for a large corporation that similarly faced anti-trust I can tell you that they are quite capable of employing whatever tactics they deem neccessary to protect their profits and further their agenda with little to no regard for the impact on anyone else other than the top people at the corporation. I guess I am curious to hear your insight into how this assists them specifically with the anti-trust and other lawsuits. Upsetting people who use their search engine would seem to only make the FTC more determined to win their lawsuit, would it not?

Another factor is that if they sense they're going to lose a lot of revenue in the future due to being broken up ( or at the least facing new regulations that makes it harder for them to monopolize things) then this might be a play to as you say, get more ad words revenue now before the rules change. I am sure at the least they must've realize this will force some IMers to give up or buy ad words - either way that benefits them in the long term.

I have an EMD with a blank page ranking #4 for a keyword that I previously had another site ranking for with unique content and lots of high quality backlinks. The site with the content is now on page two. Something is wrong here.

What percentage of those backlinks anchor use your main keyword?

There is absolutely no bug in Penguin, they are monopolists and its not a fuc.. Microsoft system that is rolled with bugs and takes ages to get fixed.

The change has happened and it will not be rolled back. We have to go back to drawing board and find a solution. As far as foot prints are concerned we leave so many foot prints for G. The services in BST are main foot prints. Last years activity has been BLAST BLAST and BLAST.

STAY AWAY FROM BLASTS

Make a new page [web2.0 or any where else] then it has all kind of links point to it [Articles, SB's, Wiki, Forums, EDU/GOV]. That page of course links to your money site or another site in a link wheel. The activity is high on that page for 2/3 days then we forget about it. It is a dead page now as we are adding more content and more web2.0 and the cycle continues we keep forgetting older pages/content. What all is needed for G to figure this out - content change log and backlink log thats it and they see its a dead page. [BIGGEST FOOTPRINT]. Now you have your money site that has all these dead pages [no activity after certain days of creation] pointing to it.

Next, I love edu, gov links but do I buy them? NO Its a commonsense that you are not in rocket science to have those links pointing to your site. They might help to an extent but when you have 10, 50, 100 edu and gov links they are definitely a RED FLAG. Edu fever was good in 2006 - 2007. I remember I purchased one edu link for $60 from a PR0 page and I know it did work. Now a days they are all garbage if purchased in bulk. [SECOND BIGGEST FOOTPRINT]. Now I am hesitant buying 15 edu links for ONLY $7.50 for the same reasons

I am not commenting on content or blog networks as we are seeing that they have been targeted recently.

We are due for a big change in Black H World.

Keep thinking and testing until something clicks.

Cheers

I have been researching the effects of this update and I too can not identify any pattern other than it perhaps wikipedia pages, and well known brand names ranking higher.

You mean we are the arab nations & G is the Israeli;o Alright lets kill the G.

Respectfully, this kind of political analogy has no place in these forums and will only serve to piss people off when our real focus should be on business and ranking our sites properly.

I do have a feeling that it might even take a year. I remember the farmer's update. Content farms got penalized back then, but now they all have been saved by this Penguin.

wow, so many conspiracy theories, I thought you got real solution not yet another myth or believe. What will you tell all of them who trusted you when algo will not changed after 3 or maybe 6 months? Wait another six months? Same myth as they want people to buy adwords.

I got no solution right now but I noticed that all my sites which I made seo last month or 2 were affected. I got 2 sites which I spammed like hell but haven't done any backlinking since 3 months and these sites are just fine. So I guess but it's only my opinion that they hunted for mass backlinkrs who build many backlinks daily or in a short period of time.

yeah, my opinion so far is that there is no pattern to identify at this point...

lots of people have put out theories and then many op's have dispelled those theories pretty quickly...i kind of like the theory that this is random, but this is probably not true...i want the random theory to be true, but deep down i really don't believe it...

so what is the reason for all these sites SERPs tanking?...i don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........crap....I/we really need to figure this out as I am out some major coin right now...

what I don't get, is why google hates spam so much?...who gives a fuck!...google increased profits by 29% from last quarter in the same year...why the battle?

peace, love, and happiness...ha...lol...

further, many people want to boycott google and never use it again, i think this is misguided...i think we should all use google as much as we can, JUST NEVER CLICK ON ANY ADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this way, google has to pay the electric bill for all the searches we are doing and they make no money for providing this service....AGAIN, NEVER CLICK ON ANY ADS!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a patent dealing with the latest update:

Code:
http://www.google.nr/patents/USD287611.pdf

So its all clear now.

Now I have no clear whats the good way now to improve rankings. Google announced any official major update. what will be good strategies to improve Google rankings.

Look at the sites not hit. They are probably big, old and have authority compared to your emd with 'rumer links and 2 pages of content.
