I need any software which defines that type of sites like by looking to url it defines it is forum site, it is press release site, it is social networking, video site, so on....

Any one knows such type of software?

It could be easy to make if you can tell us how to define presets.
Like:
- if it has "wp-content" in source = it's wordpress

Using that footprints like that you can find platforms.
But I don't have idea how you can know is it social network or not.
As some wordpress site can be social network..

You need to decide do you want to find PLATFORMS on which some site works or you want to find purpose of site or what ?

Like if i analysis my competitors url's, he has done lot of off page for different sites so i want any software which analysis competitor url and define which type of sites are they ( Are they forum, article, directory etc). Then it is easy for me to filter and then submit in that site.

I know its not very helpful, but sometime ago I found a website that had a search option for different website themes, so if you'd type business blog it would give you all the blogs related to business. The only thing I cant remember the name of it.

Do anyone know that SEO PowerSuite, SEO SpyGlass , Raven tool or seo moz are providing such type of facility which define type of sites? It will help blackhat forum members. So pls share such tool or software if anyone knows.

So finally no one has any idea related to such type of software

No. But still, what deki says holds: easily doable.

Search for scrapebox footprints here in BHW. Define which type is what for you. Check the text of the page and furthermore the html-source. E.g. if text contains "powered by wordpress" ==> blog site. If url contanis "/forum" ==> forum.

Can you programm? Easy job, e.g. in pyhton. Not? Ask for sb to implement it for you (eg freelancer.com). Single threaded, no extra features but jus a list of source urls outputting the type should be available for max 50 bucks or so.

Use Link Detective, you load up all the links in a CSV and it will analyze them and provide you with a report of what kinda of links they are, web 2.0, blogrolls etc etc

@cooooookies i am not able to understand properly, can u explain with some screen shot as i am not a technical guy.

@the-kashishm thanks for sharing nice tool still didn't get any report as i have submitted csv, anyone knows more good tool or software as it will help to lot of guys.

As we all know while doing competitor analysis lot of sites very difficult to understand but this type of tool or software will definitely help us, even if it is paid then also share here.

Yeah - you want reverse scrapebox. No such thing AFAIK - but seems very do-able.

There is a tool made by the creator of the sick submitter. Don know its name now.

I have checked Link Detective but many of the sites this tools show Unknown so it again difficult to judge, any more good tool or software?

Can anyone suggest more tools?

try these:
Platform Link Reader (i think this one's free)
Sick Platform Reader (free)

just load the URLs in a text file and it will automatically segregate URLs by platform.

HTH

U can try sick platform reader,it's free
Code:

I don't know of anything that will systematically test URLs for every possible kind of footprint but Ultimate Demon will automatically identify specific platforms in certain categories - article directories, bookmarking sites etc.

If you're going to get it, go through Scritty - his backup is excellent (and he was offering a discount).
