After the super-seller ASO, now comes SMO!
Considering that most SEO "pros" have been hyping SMO, do you truly think this is for real? Or this is just a pompous way to get some attention?
There are similar-techniques in social graph-like search engines, that can be optimised?
I've been looking in the past days at the bibliography on this topic and is near if not, absolutely inexistent. Thousands of blog entries talking about the overall idea, but no specific techniques.
Personally, I've been dealing with Buzzsumo and other similar apps for some time, and apart from content/user researching tools, I can't see any interest in "keyword-for-social-network" search engine optimisation usability.
I'm still struggling sometimes to even list brand keywords, but these tools don't even grasp a minimum grade of utility for this issue.
Any information that is worth reading about this topic?
