Sooner or later, you are going to lose 99% of your traffic as Google will keep on pushing their own shit at the expense of everybody else's.
Everyone who did not get hit is suddenly an SEO expert, it is luck of the draw, nothing else. Good sites get hit, bad sites get hit, and then there are the sites with immunity, the ones that pay Google millions and the much loved Wikipedia, a website cram packed with useless information, mostly written by the clueless. Are Google really thinking about the user? Are they bollocks.
oh really? sad to see many sites which are not effected were run by seo boys.. if u want to be an expert, u must have some sites to be swiped and hit hard by Google. rofl!!!!
The algo is robot and it's not perfect, but try to calculate the ratio of good site got hit and bad site got hit.. are there 50-50? if not, those who used spam links are deserved to be raped hard.

What is BH for google? the intention to manipulate links is consider BH. But u have to play it smart. My link profile doesn't look dark because my BH links is lesser than my natural gained links. Come on, I rather put some effort on building my own PBN than rank some shit with GSA spam.

Absolutely this. There's literally no way to provide an automated algorithm that can 100% foolproof provide an accurate portrayal of whether a site should or should not be #1 or appear on the last pages of the results. Hence, the appearance of negative SEO. Hence the sites that are "real" sites (no blackhat links provided) and also get doomed in these updates.
They're getting better? Maybe, but they're as well destroying thousands of sites that provided good value on their topic and didn't deserve getting destroyed in the process. They honestly won't care much about that, really.
It is the reason why I will never dedicate my time to a website. You are far better off making hundreds of small shit websites that take money, than one big site which can always be slapped.

What niche could you possibly be in where people link to you? In mine people just get the info they want and leave (hopefully via ads) and if you request a guest post on a blog the owner says "ok" then just steals all your keywords when you send the article. This has happened to me many times now.

Well, don't need to bother about anything he said, he once gave BTB a fake Itrader review just because he didn't like what BTB said. You can check BTB's itrader page, you will see his comment of "asshole plus plus asshole plus plus". lol. I doubt a person like this can do any success in the future.

this is bullshit. There were business that heavily depends on google for more than 10 years.. Look at godaddy, aren't their BH technique obvious enough? Halifax got hit doesn't mean every big sites will get hit, I think u should contact godaddy's CEO, he's going to pay u some big money coz their business sooner or later will be swipe off.. also try to contact masable, techrunch etc..

Godaddy heavily depends on Google? Last time I looked they had ads on TV. The more you type the more obvious it becomes that you really are clueless. Look at your OP, you buy services from here for your site, your site does not get hit, so you now take up self declared Guru status. LOL, come on kid, your blogger blog is going to get smashed one day, and you know it. Lets just hope you get enough time to save up for your Datsun Sunny before your blogger gets smacked.
