maybe the wave haven't reach to my country? but I didn't see any sign of my ranking drop in google US (google.com) either.

My ranking technique is a bit shady, 80% link packages in BHW, 20% natural. I think I want to conclude in 2 things.
1. my link profile looks is much more make sense.
- although I blast lots of BH links but the timing was perfect to gain many good and natural links.
2. my on-page is perfect.
- My other site which I try to rank with the exact link building for my first site didn't get hit. 3 kws in page #1 within 2 months, but my content is solid, and silo type. I mix them around with common sense thing like social presence and responsive theme.

look, if I was lucky, those strong site that doesn't get hit is lucky as well? my link profile begin with black but after a while I was quite happy because it gained 2k natural link from the right niche, that's something u can't buy with money..

If it is Natural then fine, But make sure those 2k Backlinks was not due to Neg SEO.
 
Its way to early to jump into conclusion I don't think everything is settle yet.
 
wait atleast 30-60 days before the SE results normalized.

It might cause after shocks.

No point if I got hit, for me at least I'm not getting manual penalty I'll be safe for the next pengiun 4.0 or even 5.0.. coz I build on a solid foundation..
 
I have an even better (wtf Google) moment for you. Playing around with a little Churn and burn site of
mine I literally just had 3 articles on the entire site and plenty of powerful yet dirty links going right to it.
Pfft! The rankings were decent but since the algo update it's doing better than it ever has.

I know....not out of the woods yet! But I tell you its crazy when a site like this does well and a nice/clean
authority site of my friends drops out of site. Tsk Tsk....Google for ya!

I tested this on a site that have less content, stuff in kws, use cheap hell article, poor silo, it barely can rank and keep dancing..

Highly competitive niche and the domain is relatively new. I do have tight on-site SEO because I
am one of those guys who believes you should have your on-site perfect. Does not take too much
work and sure does help imo. Anything to get the edge over competition.
 
You were just lucky, all of my sites (~20) have "perfect" on-page and link building mainly from BHW link packages + some "natural".

Still, 90% of them got hit and actually one of the most spammed ones even gained rankings.

Btw, there is no good timing on gaining links, it doesn't really matter.

I put effort to hunt HQ links while u are just buying them with money.. ok I'm so lucky..
