In my experience there's a much higher percentage of people with ADHD, who are self-employed, than the percentage among those holding regular dayjobs.

So let's raise some hands here, who's got ADHD? I do. :)

I always thought i had mild ADHD but never got checked out. Growing out of it a lot now but i still have a short temper, fidgety all the time, never stop talking, can't listen to people talk about shite without thinking up weird scenarios in my head :') Although to be honest i'd probably do that last one anyway because it's hilarious sometimes.

Be easily distracted, miss details, forget things, and frequently switch from one activity to another

Become bored with a task after only a few minutes, unless doing something enjoyable

Not seem to listen when spoken to

    Daydream

Fidget and squirm in their seats

    Talk nonstop

touching or playing with anything and everything in sight

    Be very impatient

Blurt out inappropriate comments, show their emotions without restraint, and act without regard for consequences

Yup, nearly all of them haha

Never got checked out by a doctor, was never bothered by it enough. I'm an adult now and i guess i just learned to live with it :) My friends and my girlfriend see it more as personality traits than they do an illness and it doesn't bother me at all :D

I still think ADHD is a marketing trick to sell those pills. Its not a real disease. 50% of Earth's population has those symptoms.

Me too. But i am a bit better now after doing meditation for the past few months. And having ADHD is not all that bad. You get some + sides too. Nice to see some fellow ADHDers.

Just a question how many of you like Games and Action movies?
I do. ( Out of Curiousity).

Very mild but I do, yep. I am trying to focus on one thing at a time these days and it is helping a little. The biggest problem is I tend to forget quite a lot.

I have started using to-do list managers as a part of my day-to-day activity, have blocked out most social networks and other such distractions, check e-mail only three-four times a day (instead of watching it like a hawk!). I have become more organized though I'm still distracted in between work!

Yeah I feel in love with games real early in life. It started with nintendo and magic the gathering. I am 27 now and still play tons of poker and Modern warfare3.

I don't take meds I mostly self medicate with coffee and pot :)

I do and it makes this work so difficult. I can't take meds for it because I take other meds for other stuff. Fucking sucks.

Don't forget to check this Southpark episode on the issue :D

A definite MUST on ADD :) (you 'll die laughing :D)

Here 's an excerpt from Wikipedia
This is a fine summary of why I think this is a let's-grab-more-money-by-making-policies-and-selling-drugs marketing hype. :)
