So what is your lockdown story?

Lockdown has been hell of a ride for all of us! breakups...marriage...lost jobs...online classes....weight gain journey...lockdown pregnancy :p .... what is your story?
I’m during a lockdown in my country, but I’m an essential worker so I kept on working regularly during Covid, and more importantly is that my gym is still operating underground mode, my online project is full steam ahead.

So in general I’m feeling lucky :)

Still looking for a job, now with my country going through another phase of lockdown. The job market is really tough.

lots of changes
maybe some are for the better
same job still, but now more responsibility (kill me), got some part-time gigs here and there for the extra $
2 new online classes (Programing & Spanish !! woohoo)
same girl still, yay 6 years ongoing
grabbed a few new domains that i probably add to the dust on the shelves collection.

Not bad, but not "great" either
Main thing was, staying busy, helps keep mind off everything

Pre-corona I moved to NYC from Europe to study, partied like a rockstar for about 2 years, met a lot of crazy people and rich people, some celebrities as well but I didn't really engage with them, I was just busy having fun and drinking for free while maintaining 3.6+ GPA at university.

Fast forward to lockdown, had to move back to Europe because at the time, my people were worried about me and because the healthcare system in the US is shit. So I have one measly semester left to complete my MSC, but that's on hold for now.

Somewhere along the line since March 2020, I discovered dropshipping, and a few months after that I started testing the waters with it during summer.

My girlfriend at the time also decided she has enough of me and my ways of life, and ended things during early lock-down. I wasn't exactly faithful, so I had it coming and it's probably well deserved. I've made a lot of mistakes in my relationships. Due to the lockdown, I couldn't deal with the break up like I otherwise would so it stung like a bee, but in many ways, that also was a part of my awakening. It's been a wake-up call for sure and I've since changed my ways, but more so forced to change.

I've learned to be alone and discovered introspection, adopted some new habits such as working out consistently, meditating, and now I'm learning all things E-Commerce and SEO. My life has completely changed so to speak.

I'm grateful to have discovered this forum and plan on returning to the U.S at some point to finish my MSC. I might also be done with the party life as well, at least for now.

Now I'm merely focused on building multiple income streams and taking care of myself, but primarily focusing on E-Commerce and POD. I haven't cracked the E-Commerce code yet, but my POD business has seen some success so far.

Depressing, around time when covid started other health problems hit me too. So this whole time is freaking depression lol. You walk around the people like they are infected with air hiv or so. Clubs and stuff closed, social life closed,I dont even wanna meet friends. Sucks.

Worked from home for close to 20 years with a couple of years in offices, usually, I would have gone and worked from an Airbnb somewhere hot during the winter and I did not take any flights since last March.

Business as usual without going out to restaurants :)

Banned from AdSense with two days left to receive more than $7k .. But we are here, healthy, life goes on :D
I remember the same thing happening to me in 2013. My adsense account was suspended the same day I was expecting to receive my payment.I thought I was going to kill myself but after a couple of bottles of all sorts of liquor,I realized life had to continue and I started over again. Just stay healthy and get back to work again.

Lost business.(tourism related) ,
got my ex gf back.,
finally ı had time to watch GoT. ( it was awesome)
Still trying to find new income source. (very desperate at the moment)

Not much changed. Ive been working from home for a while before all this mess happened.

But without day to day distractions, like meeting friends, going out for dinner, shopping etc.

I've managed to create around 250 articles for 3 new websites and started another youtube channel.

Quit smoking(cold turkey) about a year ago and started to use my home gym 5 days a week. Up from 2-3.

So as much as its sucked, I've tried to make the most of it.

Coming up mid- Feb will be 1 year "lockdown" for me. Only going out to get food and necessities once every 2 weeks. Saved a ton of money on gas lol
