So my story is this: I have an affiliate website for a niche that started out to be easy. Then some news about it came out and everybody started working on it. I wasn`t doing much to it and I was ranking #5 on it with 1k valuable links and great onsite seo. The case study for negative SEO is as any other, let's blast the sh!t out of this website. The problem is that the case study is conducted by someone else for some reason. So to clear everything up, I`m being blasted with 5k links daily for about a week now. So I`ll just come out with the result so far and keep you up to date if anything changes. After around 32k new backlinks with my main keyword as anchor, making it be around 90% of all my anchors, my website is currently ranking #3 and received 5 more sells and almost doubled its traffic. My point being: be prepaired to do negative seo, or don't do it at all. Not doing it at all is always better. Learn to rank, learn to be the best, don't just be the guy that shots the president, that's never the good guy.
