So Many Snake Oil Pushers

our esteemed and honourable Blues brotherhood:D

Bloody Esteemed!! :D:p
I will join that brotherhood imminently.

I did however say many of you. Not all of you do this. So to the ones who share valuable, accurate and useful info, may your God who ever he is bless you. For the others = :poop:

While I agree with the basis of which you speak, such very broad generalizations of painting us all with such a brush is quite unfair. This holds especially true when you yourself was a newbie, less than a year ago.

For example, you started using tools to do your work for you, prior to even knowing what work needed to be done to begin with.

I am still relying on tools to let me know if a keyword is easy to rank or not.

Please don't see this as a personal attack. Rather, it's quite the opposite. None of us here know everything. Most of what we do is experimentation. Sure, we may find something that works, but with billions of other people and an unknown number very highly performing robots on the internet, surely you weren't the only one to make a discovery of such a method that works and works well.

It's because of this, you'll need to continue to experiment. People say autoblogs haven't worked since what, 2013 or something? Well guess what? I made one and it's profitable. I got really good with a few ad networks and I spent a pretty penny on buying quality traffic. I get thousands of visitors per day on a site that Google considers to be a spam site. It was an expired domain with strong metrics. Part of yet another experiment. I expected nothing from the site. Soon, I'll put Google Analytics on it so I can see if they will react to it. It was a solid domain with great metrics and a clean profile, until I made it into what it is. It was and is a very expensive experiment, but I've almost made back all my money from this website.

My point in all this, is that while autoblogs (or anything else, really) may not work for the next person, I've found this and other ways to make them work for me. Some things may indeed not be snake oil, though I also do know that does exist and in very high numbers.

All I'm saying is that while you're right about a blue (or any other color of) name not meaning anything other than a little bit of time and money, we are all not the same. BHW is a diverse place with diverse people who have diverse interests.

..and as @Stuffedegg said:

No, I have respect for bhw, that's WHY I paid for membership.

I feel the same. I genuinely love it, here. I respect this place and many, many, many of it's members. You, included. This is BHW.
