So..I tried the google trends method..heres my results

I agree...you should be able to understand your traffic as well as your targeted crowd..I'm into blogging but don't much pay attention too much on optimizing the blog but then i did get some traffic by submitting it to social sites..considering the age of your searchers is a big help in order to get that traffic..i did made a gaming blog and use a domain name like gamespot which is an authority considerably about gaming and use Google Keyword tool to add another phrase..on the url...like what natasha said it likely helpful...i did put some G ads on the blog and somehow there are clicks but very low conversion..can i ask what would be the best type of adsense banner to put in the blog? i mean the one that has high click rate..

The Google Trend is only good for a short period of time. If it is a story, this will last a week maybe then fade away. Concentrate on products instead as they have a better longevity.

you will not win 100% of time... rather you will win only 10% of times...

I believe that was a skeleton story about how he made money. I imagine he didnt mention a few tidbits of information like linking hs google trend post to a authority site he owns or or a high pr site in the same topic.

Plus as long as ive been developing, which is 14 years now, it is very rare you see any major response to anything that quick. I mean maybe a news site that gets picked up by google news for bunches of stories or digg etc etc etc
