So out of curiosity I went and tried snapchat to bring OF traffic.. My idea was to buy an aged USA account and use 'boosting' 'promote' button in a story or a spotlight..

SOMEHOW.. After many attempts getting rejected constantly I managed to get an ad approved for 25$ running for 2 days profile visits goal ,male target, and for location targeting I let it choose on its own because when I was putting USA for some reason IT DIDNT WORK)

2 days later my public profile start gaining followers.. 100-200-300.. The ad has now finished..

THE WEIRD THING: My personal snapchat account (not the public profile which the ad was running) started receiving 200-300 real adds per day out of no where. Countries mixed.. I saw some USA names definitely in there but also some 3rd world country names.

The story views got over 2k-3k views daily.

Im now CONFUSED.. What the hell happened? Does boosting your public profile in snapchat also makes personal profile visible to others and they add you?

I posted the OF link in a story.. I got 30 free trial subs in a day.. And profile got banned. I dont care it got banned, I just wanna know did I discover something new? What about the adds on my personal/models profile?

Some extra info: (I had snapchat+ on the account, the 'creative' I used for the ad was literally a simple selfie, no songs, no stickers with link, no CTA at all or text)

If it kept getting rejected then suddenly approved, there’s usually something small that changed without being obvious.

In my case it was related to how the content was being interpreted rather than what I thought I was promoting.

Yes I eventually just posted a simple selfie with no text, caption, stickers and no songs. The mystery is how the hell the personal snapchat was found and was being added.

From what I understand, when you boost something on Snapchat, it doesn’t just push the content it can also increase overall visibility of the account behind it.

Thats what I thought.. In case that's true then its very beneficial for anyone running OFM business.. Still haven't verified it yet. Will run some more tests of course

Snap's promote system works differently than people think. When you boost a public profile, it doesn't just push that one piece of content - it signals the algo that this account has engagement potential

The personal account getting adds makes sense. Snap cross-references accounts hard. Same device, same IP, similar content patterns = they know it's connected. When one account gets promoted traffic, the algo tests if the connected accounts also generate engagement

Those mixed country adds despite targeting USA? Classic Snap behavior. Their geo-targeting on promoted content is rough. They'll show to "USA-interested" users globally, not just USA-located users. That's why you got third world names mixed in

The 30 free trials from 2-3k story views is actually solid conversion. Most OF promos on Snap convert way worse

For the rejection/approval pattern - Snap's review is partially automated. Sometimes resubmitting the exact same thing gets different results because different reviewer or different algo threshold at that moment. The simple selfie probably passed because no text/stickers/music to trigger content flags

If you're gonna scale this, use different devices for each account. Snap's account linking is aggressive. One ban cascades to all connected accounts fast

Thank you so much for the analysis.

Yes Since all social apps have their secrets, I guess thats one that snapchat has. Boosting/using ads in a public profile also increases the virality on the personal account.

The hardest thing for me is to get an ad approved. They reject everything, and even the ones that they accept sometimes dont spend.

Wish I could find some healthy snap accounts that would approve my ads instantly.. Im already looking for some established accounts, maybe that would make this method even better.

About the subs, absolutely it was a dope conversion rate considering that I spent no more than 30$ for the whole operation. You cant image how viral the account was going, and If I hadn't got banned by spamming links I would probably still kept it alive with over 10k adds, which some people would either use cupid (dont recommend since the adds are mixed quality) or funnel instantly to an OF for some good juicy free subs like I did

snapchat is strict with ofm stuff, better use multiple accounts and good proxies to avoid bans.

Yes mainly quick adds, but we've done paid as well
Oof nice do you think you can bring good stable subs in OF only using Snapchat? Im about to scale the fck out of it. Just wondering if this traffic method on its own is enough. I think yes, if we find a proper and efficient way to funnel.

Even when it does get approved; Snap Chat management can come and check the ad anytime and access if they want to continue to have it up and running.

Definately there are people doing 200-300+ paid a subs a day just with snap

I think you accidentally found a weird Snapchat push mechanic honestly. I’ve seen people mention that once a public profile starts getting traffic from ads or Spotlight, the linked personal account suddenly gets recommended more too.

The simple selfie ad probably helped a lot because it looked natural and not like a typical promo ad. The OF link in the story is almost definitely what triggered the ban though.
