SMS (Text Message) Marketing

sms marketing can mame some serious money but i tricks people and surpise users with extar charges on there bill that the didnt know about. I cannot do this to people.

shame on all of you people saying that text spamming or just sms messaging with permission is essentially the devil. You are probably the same people that sign up for offers online and submit your emails for a chance to win a trip....oh boy, you actually thought you were going to win. then when you get an email from that ccompany you cry wolf or in this case SPAM and get some one shutdown because you are basically a dumbass. I have coreg around the net that offers mobile ringtones and other apps with your phone. People opt in for them every day and then i send out sms tothese people not but 2 hours after with a text message saying, "thanks for signing up, if you didnt want to be part of X list, please opt out now by texting "stop". Atleast one a week out of thousands will of course call their carrier and complain.

If you think it is bad now...you see all these people getting info on this site...on how they can start doing it. This is the new email people.

A few stats for you. 97% of texts are opened
85% of them are opened withni the first hour
and 90% of all emails ARENT opened...EVER

so all you whiners out there that dont like getting text messages because you were careless with your phone number get ready for the emailing of the late 90's to come through with texting in the next couple years. One of you will probably team up with spamhaus and in your crusade to not be bothered by a message that only takes one action to not view...it is called the delete button

I think sms is the wave of the future. You need to be able to catch people wherever they are, and make a positive memorable experience. Sending the subscriber information that can solve their problem is your goal! Everybody has a problem or two, and they go to the internet hoping to solve it for free.

TIP

If texting is not enough, then you could ask their permission to call them on their cell phone to seal the deal. But do not call without permission, spamming is not something to be taken lightly. You more than likely wont go to prison, but you will be paying out for some time.

I have a buddy making $700 a day SMS blasting for Pay-Day advance, hits a few buttons and kicks back. You can use it for a bunch of stuff.

exactly. it is direct contact. think about it. who doesnt have a cell phone on them at all times nowadays? Over 90% of text messages are read in under 10 minutes after they are received. it is time to get in.

and there is no spam folder! not yet at least...

I got an email from BHW that was talking about this money making method called Mobile Monopoly. This looks like something that can be very beneficial to us mobile marketers. Have you guys received this email yet?

What are you talking about mobile marketing is too expensive? All you need is some sms software, a domain, and a brain. I can think many other things that are more expensive than mobile marketing lol.

I'm still looking for a company who will send out bulk SMS. I'm not trying to buy software - I need a reputable company who can provide the service.

People write that is possible to send SMS messages from a server with a specific protocol.
Is there any ebook or book or tutorial that I can read to understand a bit more about the technical features?

Some companies sell SMS for $0.02 - $0.06 / each message. Is there another way to send SMS cheaper? Because, if not, SMS is not very cheap, really (at least for me). Sure, depends of ROI, etc.

What are the countries your software can send messages?

Like people wrote here, about GOOGLE SMS, you can use it only in a few countries. It is free, but not cover a big area.

I need something to Brazil.
But something that REALLY work and with good reviews.

I am sorry, but I have read some posts here that people ask for PM... and this looks like something very strange. Because if it were good, the vendor would like to PROMOTE the service, not to make it in DARK SIDE.
