Is anyone here doing sms marketing? It is basically text message blasting to peoples cell phones. Simple enough. I would love to know your guys thoughts about it and also the service(s) that you use. Let's talk!

I created a business for SMS marketing and have had clients use it with good success.

I offer unlimited sms to an unlimited amount of people for $497/year. people pay for a year up front and then it's up to them to market it and profit from it. My business is txt*in.com, but there are many others out there.

I take the business a step further and offer them an online library of marketing materials, a polling service so they can run "American Idol" type contests, and even provide them with a mobile website.

Hey man. Thanks for this. I have a few questions though. When you say unlimited sms to an unlimited amount of people for $497/year this means I can blast literally 10 million numbers if I want to? Also, I already have a list, will your system allow me to blast my already existing list? And, how many text messages can be sent out at 1 time with 1 blast? Please let me know. I tried to do it through some different websites. trumpia .com, mozeo .com
They say that their messages go to all CDMA and GSM phones but my customers were mainly CDMA and NONE of them got a message. Heck even my own cell phone didnt even get it.

Hey man is your company compatible with sending txts to MetroPCS (CDMA) lines? Also is there a demo I can get. I am really interested in sms marketing and no its not for IM. Its for my real work.

SMS marketing is a great way to reach a lot of people, but like anything it depends on how you do it. Trumpia and some others are good services to send out from ONLY ONCE you have built your own list which can take a long time.

Also, most of the services send out through smtp so it would be like "your number at your carrier" but that is slow and very unreliable.

There are services that can send instant and 100% delivery guaranteed, and have data bases you can use to send your CPA or other offer for you off of their own data,

just depends on what you are trying to acheive.

Well, if you want to acheive massive exposure, mobile marketing is the way to go, cell phones outnumber computers 4 to 1. But for good results, stay away from the smtp that sends it out like email, as you will have really low delivery rates.

I can point you in the right direction of companies that can send for you and provide data, but dont want to give out sources for everyone to see, you can PM me if you would like and I can help you out. I am new here and would like to make some freinds.

As in any marketing, the lists are the gold, so I wouldnt want to put it out for everyone to see. There are only about 3 companies selling this type of data on the internet and they are all junk. They end up selling you just random generated data, and it will crash your system or have just terrible results.
