SMS Business in The US Help!

Hello every one,
I was wondering if there is any issues with regards to sms marketing in the US I have some leads (clean and acquired in a legit way) I can send some same offers to them with a custom sender ID but I don't know if there is any issues with regards to that.

You can send but don't do spam with server otherwise SMS server will block msg.

use twilio, throttle the sending, add a few extra numbers and pool them. do not use links in the message, dont use buzz words like "free" and watch the logs or bug tracker as it sends...it will tell you if carriers are blocking the message for any reason. each carrier may do different weird stuff.
