Easy - stop using Skype ;)

Make new one, and avoid sharing your username in public as a text, share it in PMs or on a picture.

I had the same problem, I just opened the message and blocked them, did that about 30-40times and they stopped sending me

I only open skype to communicate with ice age people, those few cavemen who are still looking to discover telegram. poor petty things, it must be a pain to live miserable lives using skype.

Uninstall that shit and install telegram. :p

Stopped using skype like 6 yrs ago. Never needed it after that. :)
I think you are right, it's time to change to the telegram from Skype. Too many spam requests in past, blocked each one, now it's reduced to one or two per week.

Really? Won't OP loose Skype clients? I mean, some customers are just hell-bent on using Skype.
I don’t think he will, because almost everyone has another communication medium these days. Even if they don’t have telegram, they should be having whatsapp (which is still better than skype imo).

Also, may be it’s time to think.. Would you like to work with ice age people? :p :p

It's a process. You won't just stop it right away, but you can tell your clients that you've moved to XXXX and leave the details. Eventually, you won't need to check on Skype.
People change phones, addresses, countries, I'm sure it wont be the end of the world if they switch :)

But some people often get scammed sharing the username on a picture. Scammers pretend to be someone whom they are not by changing one or two letters of your Skype username (typosquatring) and then go contact your clients to close your deals. Lol.

How about simply hyperlink you skype invite link to keyword like "Skype with us" or "Skype us" or "Chat on Skype" and blah.

This wasn't meant to avoid scam but spam messages, at least against crawlers that fetch webpages for skype links.

Block & keep reporting them as spam it will slow down.
Used to get many earlier daily.
Now it's different 2-3 in a week.

Wow, this must be boring.. I wouldn't like my Skype to get spammed like this
