SJW rules now in effect?

Has BHW included anything that SJW's would be against as part of its rules? This year it feels like the rules were expanded to be SJW based.

I'm not arguing with them if they are in place but it would be nice to have clarification on if the rules were really this heavily expanded.

SJW's will never be happy with anything. Collectively the most miserable group to probably ever exist. I think they're a phase that will go away eventually.

They seem to be going everywhere on the internet these days, so it wouldn't be too shocking it already got into this site in the staff level.

No significant rule changes - homophobic, racist or sexist comments haven't been allowed for a loooonng time. There's always been a culture of, um, *boisterous* banter which we let slide as long as it's not offensive.

Admittedly, I have now come out of the closet as female but I can change my profile to male if it helps you feel more comfortable? I'm not really a cushion and ornaments kind of girl, so if you want to put your hands down your pants and fart on the sofa, don't mind me.

Business ethics, possibly. Social ethics? No.

The Lounge allows us to discuss anything, so yes, social topics do come up. A lot. Idk about SJW running around the forums, but the mods will shut down a thread that's offensive. It happens weekly here, if not daily.

SJW's are losers who can stay on Tumblr and Facebook if they want to call people out for pointless crap.

As South Park would put it: "Ever since you joined this PC thing, you just bully people and wait for people to say anything improper so that you can jump down their throats for whatever words he or she used."
 
I've been lurking around here for almost 2 years and with the exception of a few "please be nice to eachother" bullshit threads I haven't seen anything remotely SJWish. Honestly, I'm much more worried about the amount of IMers here who seem to think that their own personal ideas of "morale" overrules real laws but maybe that's just me...

The problem with SJW's is this, they don't exist. SJW is a term used by people who can't win arguments so they use the same tactics as the ultra feminist people you see... Call your opposition something they cannot prove they're not.

If you defend a women, you're a "SJW" because you're ultimately hoping to get in their pants according to people who use the term.

The ultra mental feminists do the same when they drop the "you just want to fuck me" line, how can you prove you don't want to fuck someone???

It's a stupid term invented by idiots, and your point is also rather stupid. The forum has not changed, it's just your perception may have.

BHW 2016 is way more PC than BHW 2011, and BHW 2011 way more PC than BHW 2006. Just taking a look in wayback machine shows how things have changed, even in the last 18 months.


SJW is a real term, not something made up by idiots.

Like doing illegal shit in their IM projects. Copyright infringement is a frequent one. If you're bored one day try and have a look at some of the "methods" posted here.(Almost) all of them include some kind of illegal activity. Another classic one is using artwork from popular brands in sales threads. It seems reasonable to assume that big companies like Riot or Marvel etc. havn't agreed to some random dude on BHW using their artwork but yet we see it used over and over again.

Not all copyright infringement is a criminal offense many is just a civil offense which allows the person to sue you.

A person fighting against perceived injustices(that don't actually exist), people that are trying to censor free speech because its offensive. Also the microagression craze is another part of the SJW brigade.

A few years ago many of these phrases were about connecting with people to get know them better to be their friend. Now its turned around into something completely different by the SJW's.
