Sites Gone? Google Update? WTF

I'm #1 for a new keyword phrase Doesn't bring too much traffic though....like an extra 20 hits a day :P (at this rate at least).

Not even in the top 1000 for some KWs I was previoulsy in the top 100 for.....


traffic hasn't changed much though currently around 800-900 UV a day (average since the begining of the year)
 
Hmm, don't know about you people but my sites are getting better positions on huge keywords with every update.
 
Actually one of my sites disappeared in the rankings last week- it was not even appearing in any search results. This was going on for atleast 4 days, but now it has returned back to normal. I know this may sound strange, but we can call them as "weird google fluctuations".
 
@JohnMalekin - so people are sharing that their hard work has cost them future income due to a google change and you come on here and brag? You do not even try to help out by stating what you are doing different than everyone else - you just want someone who has lost everything to feel even worse? man that is too cold
 
Reading on another forum , they are suggesting its to do with google web master tools and ga , if you have removed it recently then its happening .... have anyone of you di recently in last 10 to 15 days

I really dont understand the point in such posts. Its great for you and I hope the best for you and your sites but do you think that you actually contributed to the thread in any possible way? Are you a spam bot mate?

OP:I lost rankings and pretty much 75% of my traffic for one website but thats reasonable since I was using mostly HPS and ALN for that and I have lost all backlinks.

The weird thing is that nothing seems to work at this moment.I never blast money sites with scrapebox etc but even good web2 seem to have absolutely no effect on new sites. Thats my experience for the last two weeks. Also keywords that were sitting in the second page without any seo drop to hell after manually building 2-3 web2.0 and adding some links (of course I am not using the same anchor text..)

I suppose google is running an update because I am seeing search results (domain.com/search=keyword) taking my spots which is odd and sad at the same time.
 
i don use ga or wm, still got slapped pretty hard on lots of my webs
 
NO What I meant was if you were previously using but stopped using recently then it can be a cause
 
Man i'm not trying to brag here, just telling that these new updates are working nice. These updates are putting out of game those crappy little sites who are ranking with thousands of crappy software posted backlinks.

I haven't done any software submission, everything is quality manual work. Build an authority sites with real information (not just MNS with few articles of 400 words with specific keyword density) and build relevant backlinks with manual work. Google clearly says its opinion about paid backlinks.

I think people should go for quality, because scrapebox and spinning days are over.

I do... This has been on my mind a little.. The one site that didn't drop that I would have thought would have dropped is at a different hosting company
 
Been using an SEO service from the forums here, Every single site I own got hit, dropped off the map for every single keyword I previously dominated page 1 with.

My sites have been all over the map for the last couple of months. I had one site that dominated competitive keywords in the weight loss niche that have all dropped anywhere from 7-200 spots. This is an authority site that is 12 years old with lots of mixed links including many legit social networking links.
 
Anyone else using Hostgator also? ALL my sites that got hit are hosted by them.

This is the first time I am careless about panda because I was totally hammered during the previous updates. It`s Bittersweet.
 
my sites that used HPRS - private blog network - all hit hard (obviously)

other sites that didn't use them but simply used Wikis / AMR / BMD / You Tube Videos / Social Media
these were all OK and in fact moved up rankings places

I don't use Scrapebox or NHSEO since those leave a footprint anyone could spot.

Hosting - I moved away from Hostgator a while ago - not sure this would be a factor.

Also this whole thing is BS - once we identify what they are looking for to penalize sites - we just
turn on the people ranking ------ so seems really weird to do this today.
