Yeah I did. I used much the plain URL on high PR resources.

I got hit on my highest authority site. I submitted for reconsideration through Google webmaster and we'll see how that pans out. The thing that is weird is that there is real inconsistency in the penalties. My personal opinion is that Google red flagged certain article directories (auto approve) and those who submitted to them felt the chuck norris wrath. Like a speeding trap on the highway. Right now I'm focusing on content and social media to bring authority back to my website. As well, I been making an effort to link out to other authority sites in my niche. It take about a month for reconsideration and google dosen't comment on an individual basis but i guess ill see with my ranking. I'm now going whiter hat on my sites. To all who got beat up by google, my condolences. Patience is a virtue.

I am not sure if the google update effected my site or not.
One of my site was ranking at 280 for a keyword since a week
and the rankings vanished for last 2 days.

I see its back again today after i have done some retweets to that site.
What should i consider this google dance since i have blasted with my own
SEO service to it 1 month back and the ranks are always dancing each and every day.

But this is a good competitive keyword.

This thing is really strange...maybe something is changing in google algo and they are making a global dance.....2 hour ago 1 keyword of my website was #278 after 1 hour is not in top 500 and now it's # 304...same is happening to my other keywords...

a very bad thing in my mind now....I was scrolling down this 3d when I read "submitted for reconsideration"....WTF man...I'm just thinking they have a lot of data (a lot of people submit site for reconsideration) and they know what we are using to build backlinks (bookmark site, forum profile sites etc)....maybe they have devaluated all of them...

So get this... After my money site got the boot (this morning 3/16/12). I was trying to think of how I was going to get around it. The reason this site brought in so much money was because of 2 keywords with very little competition . I decided to use another site that was similar to it. I created a 500 word post using my two keywords. I did this on my spammy as all hell website (3 years old) that didn't get slapped which I can't figure this out at all.. Maybe the age? Anyway I created the post about 2 hours ago.. I just checked the G-Monster and that post is rank in the 12 spot.. Already indexed, no links nothing... WTF

Google is simply devaluating some Networks (blog networks, articles directories) and de-indexing/penalizing websites having DIRECT spammy links (scrapebox, xrumer ...).

I would recommend that those who have been penalized list the SEO services and Networks they have been using, in order to find out which ones have been penalized by Google.

The solution in order to avoid drops due to "network devaluation" is to diversify your linking.
FYI, I haven't seen any drops in my websites yet. I am using all sorts of backlinking services (web 2.0, blog networks, edu profiles, article directories, social bookmarking ...). I also use scrapebox and xrumer services but only for my tier 1/tier 2 websites, not my money site.

Spammy Links
If you have spammy links pointing directly to your money site, then no wonder your website has been penalized or de-indexed.
Unfortunately, once this happens, you can forget your website as it will be in most cases considered in Google eyes as a "black hat spam" website. Doing strong quality backlinking from high authority websites IMO won't change anything. You might have a slight increase in ranking, but minimal.

These sorts of things happen quite frequently:
1) Had most of my niche websites penalized in June with a -50 penalty (due to spammy links I guess) and they are still with it. So what did I do ? Well I recreated new Micro Niche websites.

2) I was then making a solid 2500€/month with Adsense and scaling up, until Google closed my personal adsense account, and banned all websites from Adsense. So what did I do ? Well I have created more authoritative websites and am using my business Adsense account. I am also using diversified linking techniques as mentioned above and am avoiding all spammy linking services which would harm my money websites.


Meanwhile, I must admit that I have noticed that new websites (domain age less than 1 or 2 years old) seem to be more likely to see ranking variations when linking is NOT DONE PROGRESSIVELY. So make sure not to do heavy backlinking for a month or two and then stop, as Google will notice this and understand that you are trying to manipulate your search rankings.

Good, I hope their stock takes a total shit. Thing is, even regular users will start to realize that their search results are garbage and will start moving over. Either that or people are just too ignorant to even realize it. I think that is what Google is banking on. Either way, they are getting way too greedy, and over time that will hopefully cause people to move to better search engines.

Actually I have been hearing about a search engine (duckduckgo.com). I might start trying them out.

3 websites of my main 90 sites lost rankings. They have low link profiles though so who knows.
Then I have 120 one page EMD websites, about 30-40 of them dropped out of top 10 for their keywords. They weren't making a ton of money, it was kinda like bonus money for me, so I don't care that much, but it's pretty fucking annoying.
Fuck Google and fucking up people's lives and business with their dumb fucking changes.
Now sure effect blackhat, but I'm sure thousands of people who don't even know what blackhat is, are effected by these changes.

This is a diversity thing. It is not about diversity of backlinks but about diversity of sites. The people who are most effected are the people with the least amounts of sites. Yet people are still saying to put all your effort into one "authority" site. That's crap advice.

It seems like Google pressed a "shuffle all results button." It seems like they've pressed that button a few times this year. One way to deal with it is to analyze all the changes and try to make sense out of chaos. The other way would be to build, build, build, backlink, backlink, backlink, build, build, build, backlink, backlink, backlink, build, build, build, backlink, backlink, backlink. If you just build and backlink with each shuffle you will be sure to have some properties that drop and others that rise.

Too bad you spent all this time writing that long post. You're wrong. As I said, plenty of sites disappeared that have no backlinks, have a few natural ones or are high-quality. Also, why does everyone talk about devaluing anything..WTF? You don't drop 600 places because your links are not as powerful anymore..

My guess - it has nothing to do with penalizing. It has to do with:

1) Fluke..the google system having trouble processing new pages in their cache - temporary

2) Google intentionally trying to scare people..again - temporary.

I make a shitload of sites every week and I can def. say NEW sites disappearing is NOT a penalty.

I've been focusing on blasting my 2nd tier sites and minimum on my main site. I've been using Senuke for social, web 2.0, bookmarking and some forum profiles. I thought I over did it and they de-indexed me but then I saw this thread.

What I was doing:

blasted my tumbler/squido blog (which points to my main site). I blast blog comments with scrapebox to these and use senuke.

I sometimes blast my main site as well with social/web 2.0, etc.

Perhaps this is not the way to go?

edit - In the past, I did blast my main site with scrape box so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it....

Indeed I did a small SB blast to my money site, but not big and only once. Other than that I've used Senuke in the past then have been buying fiverr gigs for link pyramids.

My authority site and a bunch of sites directed towards it lost rankings. Out of Googles 1000. Some adsense sites are completely gone.

Crazy Shit ! So many have been hit. I also have. Don't understand why. Hope it's just a bad day and ranking will be back by the end of the week. Chuck Nurris please come and help us !
