Sites Gone? Google Update? WTF

So what happened ?
I had site on page 1 last night .. today .. Gone !

I had three sites in the same niche.... the completely white hat one gained two ranks....
The other two had shitty backlinks built from SB, XR and AMR [shitty content].
These two sites were on #15 and #19 for primary keywords. Both of them are not in top 500.
 
Same issue on one of my projects.
Lets compare the used services. Which did you use for the particular sites? (I will post mine later, as used many and have to look through the records.)
 
All stable for me. A few sites up, most unchanged. Many of my clients sites are up.
 
I think google doesn't realize that they are just making their search engine even worst for SEO'ers, which brings them a lot of money. Just like taxes in the United States, all these small websites bring in 60% of adsense revenue. Hopefully they will change it soon.
 
I used Rank Tracker.. From Rank 7 (Page 1). Now Rank 37...

I thought I was the only one. :(

it is hard to say which method brought me down:
i used AMR directly to my money sites
i used only 100% unique content
some wiki links directly to money webs, some to the tier1
sb blast just to tier1
no hand seo to buffers
and all that shitty senuke links (web 2.0 profiles, forum profiles) to buffers only
 
Just checked my sites.. all are stable.. and a couple actually ranked higher for secondary keywords.. Focus on your onpage SEO.. but the worst part is google still has some crappy links in the first page for certain keywords of mine.

However, I am slowly changing my strategy to drive more traffic from sources other than google
 
Anyone has local websites? Foreign language websites?

Haven't seen any movement so far...
 
Most of mine are stable too.

Just make sure you don't buy too much of a certain link type. Be diverse and keep building quality links.

That's the thing exactly. These changes have in fact not helped the quality of results, but oppositely (speaking about my niche that has been hit) - that's why it is hard to believe for me that it has anything to do with On-page factors...

I am thinking about focusing purely on content for the next 30 days - It's simply too hard to believe in any form of un-natural links these days...

I just lost my fucking mortgage payments and all the rest of the bills I pay for my household to take care of my wife and 2 kids. I had an authority site that had 100s of rankings, many were number one. Guess what? They are all gone. Gone. Gone./ Gone. I feel like blowing my fucking head off. Fuck YOU Google you fucking fuck.

But Not all Sites go down my is going up :)
 
Same here. Well established sites that were ranking first page with tons of quality links totally taken off the map when I checked results this morning, makes no fucking sense...
 
All my sites apart from one site are stable. One of my site lost the ranking and slipped down to almost #75 from #2. I am still wondering the reason because all my other sites are perfectly fine and stable
 
Yes, mine was a quality site of a wellknown brand in my country. Unbelievable!
