Does adding sites to other search engines except google does give a significant amount of traffic?

Google dominates the field with around 95%++ (worlwide)
so, unless you're not targeting some specific countries like Russia, China, etc... you'll be losing the most out of traffic

I've been pleasantly surprised by the amount of traffic from duckduckgo recently. Donno if something's changing while Google is obviously broken.

I concur the same finding. I'm also noticing a bit of an uptick of DDG traffic across 4 unrelated sites over the past few days.

It will, however, having your site appear on Google will make it a lot better.

Brave browser perhaps, as I think they have DDG as the default Search engine. Or thanks to the Netflix documentary The Social Dilemma? (or whatever it's called) :D

Google is a main player, adding sites to other search engines will help you very very little...
