Actually, I'm working on gambling websites so there are multiple subdomain and domain but there is always redirection is happening after 1 or 2 days because of banning possibilities. So that's the reason every time it's difficult to create sitemap and submit.

Hi, as i know you can redirect it, for example using 301 redirect. But this action just potentially confusing and perhaps risky. For example if the redirect gets broken.

It's generally not advisable to redirect sitemaps from one domain to another, as it can cause confusion for search engines. Instead, when migrating content to a new domain, create a new sitemap specifically for the new domain and submit it to search engine to maintain clarity and accuracy.

No, sitemap redirection is not possible. Sitemaps are static files that provide information about the structure and content of a website to search engines. They are not designed for redirection.

Hi, is there any method that sitemap automatically created when we migrate one domain to other? Or manually we need to create and submit?

I dont think this is possible to do it, just gotta do some extra work for the sitemaps, no shortcuts I guess

You can redirect sitemap URL like all other URLs. It will prevent 404 error on your old sitemap. For creating new sitemap when the domain is switched, you can try to maintain the same URL structure, then you will just need to replace the domain/subdomain in a text editor and so it won't be a major problem. But yes, you will need to submit it again in search console, there is no shortcut for that.

Hi,

Is there any technique through which we can redirect sitemaps through one domain to other domain?
It's not possible because search engine need to access sitemaps or else you can update it on webmasters tool update it and submit it on robots.txt file.

Hi,

Is there any technique through which we can redirect sitemaps through one domain to other domain?
if this is possible, then everyone can start selling their own Indexing Services

Redirecting sitemaps from one domain to another is not recommended; create a new sitemap for the new domain during a transition.

To send sitemaps from one website to another, create redirects so that when someone looks for the sitemap on the old site, they get sent to the right place on the new site.
