I made some changes to my site, I did a permanent 301 redirect from a mysite.com to a http://www.mysite.com

I also changed the permalink structure of my wordpress site to make it more seo friendly and changed some post slugs which I found to be kinda bad.

From what I been reading all 3 of those steps could cost me traffic as google still has the old permalinks cached and could take them some time to re-index all my urls.

Should i just ping the hell out of all my pages (use one of those fast indexers) and try to get them reindexed as soon as possible? Is this my only option?

if it is wordpress then please try to find wordpress redirect plugin. you can try the following. right now i can't post any link here. I searched google "wordpress redirect" and the plugin page is on the top.

thanks! so you don't recommend using for example the scrapebox rapid indexer to get all my pages updated?

Just give it some time and it will get updated. You can ping it but don't use some heavy weight method right now.

Resubmit the sitemap. Possibly post some backlinks to one or two of the new pages. It shouldn't take long for the crawler to reindex your new urls
