Hello everyone, I'm having a problem with submitting one of my sitemaps.
I have 5 in total:
-post sitemap
-sk isotope gallery sitemap
-category sitemap
-post tag sitemap
-topic tag sitemap

Now then, my last sitemap (topic-tag-sitemap.xml) is giving me an error.A general HTTP error: 404 not found.I guess this has to do something with a forum.
I have the WP Yoast plugin, the sitemaps are generated by the plugin.

My big question is, how can I get rid of this error?

PS: I'm not a big SEO guru, know the bascs thats all.

Thank you!

This is created because probably Yoast SEO Has a bug.

To get Yoast to generate the tag sitemap, you must either leave the SEO title and description of your tags blank or change the value of "Include in Sitemap?" field from "Auto Detect" to "Always Include".

However as it's mentioned here - https://moz.com/blog/setup-wordpress-for-seo-success I wouldn't use topic tag.

Hope I Helped!

I managed to resolv it somehow :) thank you

The Sitemap Details page lists any errors Google found with your sitemap, as well as warnings about potentially problematic issues. Once you've reviewed your sitemap and made any changes, save it and then resubmit it. It can take up to a day for Google to process the resubmitted Sitemap, so the warning status might continue to display until then.

Just google yost sitemap 404 and you will find a tutorial to fix this issue.
