Site theme and plagiarism

1. I'm using Kadence but seems it dont have AMP feature. Kadence sells AMP plugin separately. Can anyone confirm if Generate press has inbuilt AMP feature?

I'm looking for a free lightweight theme with AMP feature.

Also I used Google's AMP test (https://search.google.com/test/amp) to check cnn.com and latimes.com and the tool says those are not AMP sites.

2. My articles are unique, I wrote myself, not translated or anything. But 1text and quetext is giving 20-30%. It is mainly picking up the "keywords" as identical. Suppose KW is "best shoes for gym", then 1text is showing only 20% unique lol Should I be concerned?

No theme has AMP features by default AFAIK, and surely 100%, not Generatepress. This can easily achieved with a plugin, like AMP for WP, with any theme (in fact this type of plugins offer their own "theming" system for AMP completely separatedly from the original theme

In fact it is kind of funny that my Generatepress with adequate optimization runs way faster than the alternative AMP version. when theorically AMP was meant to be blazingly fast. I'm not sure why Google keeps mantaining this shit moreover the huge speeds that regular sites are already achieving with new performance optimizations, HTTP2, better cachese, ultra-image optimizations, etc... Personally I'm stopping AMP on all my sites, because it's really difficult to maintain, and I don't see any improvement in any ranks with such technology. Maybe for Google News it's worth, but I'm not advocating for that system yet (and plenty of sites are appearing in Google News nowadays without AMP versions). I think it would be interesting to open a new topic about AMP to discuss this in the forum with all members impressions.

If you know that they are unique why are you concerned?

The only concern I would have if that someone is replicating my content in a different site. So you can use those plagiarism software precisely for what they were originally meant for: to find and report copycats.

The official Amp plugin does not support GeneratePress out of the box. But this should help - https://docs.generatepress.com/article/amp-compatibility/ (It's in beta for a long time so check everything thoroughly)

Both those sites are amp supported. You''ll have to check individual stories, as against the homepage. For CNN it's edition.cnn.com

Quetext etc. are trained to pick up on plagiarism. The system does not know whether it's a sentence you copied verbatim or a keyword you've included in your copy.

The output that you see should be used as a point of reference. If it's merely your keywords being highlighted, you have nothing to worry about. As long as the the surrounding content is original and adds value.

However, 30% is pretty high IMO - if its just picking on keywords. Either you're keyword density is too high or your copy is too small.

By the way, I forgot, check this:
https://amp-wp.org/ecosystem/themes/There are all the Themes that work by default with the AMP for Wordpress "official" plugin. Plenty of them are free as in beer, if you still are willing to go full AMP.

The only theme I know that has an inbuilt AMP feature is Newspaper. Why not install an amp plugin that's compatible with Kadence?

Concerned because every one uses common words like "will guide you" "this shoe will" . That's why I decided to check via quetext and 1text and those tools are just picking keywords like that, not a whole sentence or paragraph

Yes, articles are around 700 words . Those tools are not even picking up a sentence or a paragraph, just some common words.

The 1 star reviews shows their sites broke with this plugin, but I'm thinking to give it a go after taking full backup.

I always use content with that percentage from copyscape.

You can also reduce it by some editing.
You don't necessarily need 100% uniqueness.
Your content structure, topic relevance & optimization are more important.
Pay attention to the top 5 or top 10 in your niche.

I am even ranking rephrased content with minimum to no editing, all types informational, affiliate review styles.
