Hey all,
Long time reader and these past few months I have finally started to get in the game. Here is my site ecigg()org. Now, we just opened shop last Sunday and haven't made a single sale yet. We are getting plenty of traffic from various tools and PPC(adcenter, yahoo, etc), but not making a single sale. I am lost we have the best prices around on the joye 510.
Any help would be appreciated. I spend hours and weekends on building this site and don't want to see it fail.
Okay, I've been over your site, read all of the replies and definently agree with most of the guys here in regard to your site being a bad design.
Technically, it doesn't look bad but graphically, it looks like a cheap scam site. That with your backend cpa and affiliate product offers, it looks rough, bud.
I would highly suggest moving for a revamp. Also, the keywords you are getting traffic for the niche market you are pushing to. I would change the order and focus the priority on quitting/stop smoking rather than so much on the ecigg product promoting keywords. Yes, you should have them but you should also take into consideration that not many people know of them yet. This leaves you to still target the " You've got a problem and we've got the solution " marketing angle.
I would also recommend pushing the celebrity edge a little bit. Capt. Phil on Deadliest Catch and his two boys were heavy smokers, which his recent passing earlier this year openned the ecigg alternative to many smokers that want to quit, as his boys have displayed using in ' Deadliest Catch: After The Catch '.
Your copy is down right vulgar and gross. It is like a sales ad that should be in a rehab shock pamplet, not on a website promoting a product like this. Your site graphics and copy are just flatout aweful and need to be changed drastically. That is where you are losing your traffic.
Lastly, create a funnel to suck your visitors into place where you want them to be and go throughout your site. There is no selling in marketing...it is all about guiding them through the process of where to go and what to do. Too many people stick the information up there and mislead people right of the page, or in your specific case, hold up a stop sign and tell them to leave.
The worst things you can do on a website is mislead or not lead a client at all. All of the best marketers online are jerks but still make huge bank because they know and understand how to lead their clients through the information, right to the end sale. They hold their hand and pull them along, telling them it is okay the whole time, while grabbing their wallet with the other. It is what we have to do to make a living.
Technical hype ads and shocking, gross statements slap people in the face with the " Stop : Don't you dare buy me!!! " bit.
IT needs some serious work...good luck with it.
