    Hey all,

Long time reader and these past few months I have finally started to get in the game. Here is my site ecigg()org. Now, we just opened shop last Sunday and haven't made a single sale yet. We are getting plenty of traffic from various tools and PPC(adcenter, yahoo, etc), but not making a single sale. I am lost we have the best prices around on the joye 510.

Any help would be appreciated. I spend hours and weekends on building this site and don't want to see it fail.

I do have targetted traffic with adcenter and yahoo ads. Can you give me a good example or explain more why our sales page is not convincing? I appreciate your response.

Your site dos look pretty bootleg (imo) and if you have targeted traffic why do you need to go thru your site.

Just send straight to a few different ecig offers and see which is converting best.

Site doesn't instill trust. Graphic design & color palette need major work, IMO.

Your "traffic tools" traffic may be questionable.

Your ppc ads may need work. Better keys, titles, etc.

Bootleg Meaning? Can you give me some insight. We actually are a supplier it is not an affiliate sight. We have a full warehouse(my garage) and ship to customers.

What would you suggest for a color palette? Compared to our competitors our site is much better looking. how does the site not install trust. I appreciate the suggestions, but if you could provide examples it would help

Find the top companies in your niche, model your site around theirs. I think the site has some potential, just hang in there I know a few people who use e-cigs. I asked where they went to find their product, most said google & use the site they bought their cigarette from to buy the liquids or whatever it is. Once you get some customers there is a good chance they will come back. Keep track of your visitors with google analytics it is the best for tracking how many people visited your site plus their activity.

I checked your backlinks only showing 8 atm. Couldn't find any rankings for google. But I did find one ranking for Yahoo.. #1 spot for Ecig Vapor The Right Way. Not the best keyword to rank for but it is a start. Make sure to include anchor text when building your backlinks. So instead of your clickable link being http://www.ecigg.org make it something relevant to what you want to rank for like joye 510.

Also your banner is huge.. hang in there listen to advice that BHW is given unless the user rep is under 10. Members with low post counts the advice can be good at times just depends on the users future on the site.

Anything besides black & white? At least black on white.

    >Compared to our competitors our site is much better looking.
Looking at some of your competitors, that's not really saying much, tbh.

    >provide examples
Nothing fancy but something simple like nicotine nirvana.

FWIW it's pretty easy to find cheaper prices.

    Hi there

Firstly, in line with what others have been saying, your design is off-putting and does not establish a good relationship with your potential customers. The black theme gives an "underground" impression, a bit like Blackhat World itself; not exactly ideal for for convincing prospects to buy a physical product from someone they have never heard of.
To be completely honest, at first glance it seems to be a website that endorses traditional smoking rather than discouraging it.

Try choosing colors in line with what you are selling. White always works and coupled with a subtle green or blue, you could give that "breath of fresh air" feeling to your customers. This will do well to reinforce your message of the eCig cleaning up potential customers' dirty lungs and ridding them of the disgusting habit (your words).
That said, the site also needs to be professionally done. Take some time to create a really good design (there are some beautiful WordPress themes available that work pretty much out of the box) or hire someone to do it for you.

Secondly, your site has a couple of fundamental marketing flaws. Overall it feels clunky and unintuitive. Why is there an email box on the left hand side an a picture of credit card companies underneath it? When I see credit cards, that shows me there is a buy button nearby. I look for it and all I see is the email box. These mixed signals confuse prospects instead of making it as easy as possible for them. Speaking of buying, I don't see the word "buy" anywhere on the front page. I see a product and specifications and my natural reaction is to click on the product name or picture but nothing happens. These should be linked to your sales page. The "Vapor Now" button needs work or perhaps an entire rethink. You need some good sales copy before you introduce a catch phrase like that and use it to mask a buy button. It's not that your sales copy is poor, it's just formatted badly. Where are the bullet points, the colors etc?

I suggest you head over to Clickbank and take a look at some of the sales-pages for the top products. Marketers use those cliche formats with red text, exclamation points and boxes for a reason: they work.

Awesome thanks for the feedback. Now what did you use to check out our backlinks? I used some free tools on the site here to get backlinks. The 3000 backlink website I ran a few nights ago. I also did some social bookmarking too. My adcenter campaign is doing pretty good with a CTR of 1.5% on my keywords joye 510, e-cigs, etc. As for analytics I use Silverlight to see all my stats is that just as useful?

    Excellent Idea that will work.

Hire a few actors for the day.

3 or 4 and film them socialising wth the e-cig.

Ask them what they think of it and get them to say all the advantages.

Or even go to a bar or club and give people there a few samples and record what they have to say about them.

They may set you back a few ton but it will boost conversions.

Also check out any infomercials and see what they are doing.

i suggest getting rid of the black background. White is easier to read on and it looks cleaner and more professional for a product like your selling. IMO ofcourse.

Okay, I've been over your site, read all of the replies and definently agree with most of the guys here in regard to your site being a bad design.

Technically, it doesn't look bad but graphically, it looks like a cheap scam site. That with your backend cpa and affiliate product offers, it looks rough, bud.

I would highly suggest moving for a revamp. Also, the keywords you are getting traffic for the niche market you are pushing to. I would change the order and focus the priority on quitting/stop smoking rather than so much on the ecigg product promoting keywords. Yes, you should have them but you should also take into consideration that not many people know of them yet. This leaves you to still target the " You've got a problem and we've got the solution " marketing angle.

I would also recommend pushing the celebrity edge a little bit. Capt. Phil on Deadliest Catch and his two boys were heavy smokers, which his recent passing earlier this year openned the ecigg alternative to many smokers that want to quit, as his boys have displayed using in ' Deadliest Catch: After The Catch '.

Your copy is down right vulgar and gross. It is like a sales ad that should be in a rehab shock pamplet, not on a website promoting a product like this. Your site graphics and copy are just flatout aweful and need to be changed drastically. That is where you are losing your traffic.

Lastly, create a funnel to suck your visitors into place where you want them to be and go throughout your site. There is no selling in marketing...it is all about guiding them through the process of where to go and what to do. Too many people stick the information up there and mislead people right of the page, or in your specific case, hold up a stop sign and tell them to leave.

The worst things you can do on a website is mislead or not lead a client at all. All of the best marketers online are jerks but still make huge bank because they know and understand how to lead their clients through the information, right to the end sale. They hold their hand and pull them along, telling them it is okay the whole time, while grabbing their wallet with the other. It is what we have to do to make a living.

Technical hype ads and shocking, gross statements slap people in the face with the " Stop : Don't you dare buy me!!! " bit.

IT needs some serious work...good luck with it.

I would get rid of the dark colors, something about dark colors turns me off if I'm looking to purchase something, unless it's a blackhat tool :)

Also, you're featured product on your front page isn't even linked to the offer. I would also add a 2-3 paragraph blurb about what they are, you might start getting UNtargeted traffic you'd lose because they don't even know what it is.

Yea we are currently making changes per everyones requests right now. that is why some things arent' working. We will add a paragraph about what an e-cig is. Also if you check out vapor4life they go with the black on black and they are one of the top sellers.
