Site icon not showing in google search

Hi guys im new to seo so i faced a bit of confusion hope to be resolve :)

So, I can't see my site icon even though it is indexed almost 3 days. is this normal ? or i still have to wait
another confusion that i wish someone can explain to me is,
my deleted page get indexed and it is showing on google search, if i let it sit there will it hurt my main page ?

for deleted page should i just redirected it to my main front page or i just do a removal on gsc? i mean which is the best?

It's normal for a site icon to take a few days or longer to appear. As for the deleted page, it’s best to use 301 redirects or request removal in Google Search Console to prevent any potential impact on your main page
 
You don't need to worry as much, it will appear. Make sure you have done everything correct in html source code and clear your browser cache

Favicon not showing up on search results is normal, it might not show up because the browser might caching the older version of your site, try clearing it. Or it can be because of Favicon specs (size, dimension, etc.) do not meet the Google's requirements. As for the deleted page it is recommended to use 301 redirects send the user directly from deleted page to a relevant working, because the deleted page would return error 404, which is bad for user experience.

Make sure your icon is properly linked with HTML and uploaded to the root directory. Check the Icon Report in GSC for any problems.
 
Don't worry too much, it will show up. Ensure your HTML source code is correct and clear your browser cache.

If your site's domain.com/favicon.ico is available for Google to crawl, it'll be automatically updated. It takes some time for Google to update the icon due to the caching methods it uses.
