hey you are on the right track.

H1 once is good, but H3 isn't mandatory use it only when you need another level of structure. I'd also focus heavily on clean URLs, title/meta descriptions, canonical tags, internal linking, schema, XML sitemap, robots.txt, Core Web Vitals, mobile UX, image optimization, and making sure important pages are crawlable indexable. Content quality and search intent matter more than hitting a specific 500–800 word count.

one aspect of new websites that people tend to overlook is what will happen when additional pages are added at a later date.i would do the URL nd internal linking strategy from the very beginning to ensure that i will not have to do any messy work at a later stage. are u doing a test run of the website on a stagging domain?
