Silo Structure - Static Template

Hello BlackHatWorld members,

After a year or more i've decided to go back to the serps ( i had too much troubles with the earlier versions of panda/penguin ) and i was looking to use a white hat silo structure.
I already read a bunch of information on this matter but would like to know your opinion.

At this moment many webmasters are selling their "Wordpress Silo Structure" and from what i've read and know, it is very hard to stop the juice leak on wordpress, it wasn't built for this.
Is there anyone out there selling static html silo structure templates?

Why? It is simple, i can stop any kind of leaks, with static html you can achieve the perfect page speed, and getting this things into consideration i assume that the link building will become easier. Working with a template would save me hours of work.

Silo structure is inherent in any html template. You simply control what you link to on the page.

The pages will only link to what you put on them, there is no link bleed.

Any template will do, it depends on how you code it as to whether it is a silo or not.
 
Just optimize your template once and forever to prevent link bleed. Google crawler sees any page as pure HTML, so treat them as HTML - get rid of anything in your template that causes link bleed.
 
I guess your going to have to make your own.. build with minimum content and then use that as a template for future sites.
 
Just go to themeforest and find a template you like, tweak it a bit to your liking.
 
There are hundreds of sites that offer HTML/CSS templates that you can download for free.

I guess i'm going to develop it myself.
Optimize 1 template o fit my needs may take the same time as developing one from ground up.
 
There are themes for wordpress that take care of this, worth researching and even checking with their developers.
 
I don't want to use WP because static html can produce amazing results and since silo works around many factors like PageSpeed, it is more effective to use static ( i think ... ).
 
you are wrong to use static html, use wordpress. there are plugin that create html pages, and compress data as static. like wp-cache. search on it, u will find wordpress much more easy and can do static pages too.
 
Now you got me a bit confused. So is it better to use wordpress?
 
There is no way WP would be faster than static optimized HTML. WP has a lot more code and a database. Even with the fastest caching plugins, there is no way.

If all you care about is speed, use straight HTML/CSS.
 
I care about speed because google uses the "Page Speed" as a big factor on their rankings.

There are many other factors in addition to just page loading speed. You're sacrificing a lot of features and potential gains by not using WP.
 
Maybe i'm misinformed on the matter because from what i've read people said it was very hard to prevent theme bleed in wordpress.

I've no problem to develop the theme in wordpress (actually it would be easier for me). I see wordpress only as a dynamic tool that would save me a few hours if i required to change something, and with static html it would require me to change a ton of pages.
As for the theme bleed, i have a few ideas how to tackle this ( using custom post fields ) but i just want to invest my time in something future proof.

So BHopkins what do you recommend ?

There are plenty of silo themes available in the market. Just google it. Using wordpress is lot less hard work in terms of management and not to mention the other features you could use.

Just remember not to dwelve too deep into the silo tree- a three level deep is sufficient unless you are trying to build an Amazon like site.

Personally, if my sites were build and be done (not requiring updated information to stay relevant), there is no way I would burden myself with maintaining and securing 100 WP installs when you could build the site once in html and be done with it.

And unless you are a dev, you cannot stop theme bleed in WP, regardless of your plugins and themes.
 
yes, for speed factor HTML is the best option, i heard Static HTML silo gets better result than WP
