Sigh... I just don't get it (wordpress).

Someone sent me a guide, and following his advice, I finally got it to work.

Why didn't anyone mention that you have to transfer your DNS server from the site you bought your domain name from to the hosting site?

Yeah I was about to say you're gonna need a guide because once someone gets you inside the WP admin panel it's still going to be tough to figure everything out if you couldn't figure that out.

It sounds like an installation problem. Once you get to the "back office" of WP you'll see how intuitive it is to create your site. If you have HostGator for your webhosting they can most likely walk you through everything. In my experience they have great customer service.
