G has (and will continue to) destroy websites during these updates. Even if you're doing everything according to their "standards".
Only this year we had a bunch of major updates (and the year hasn't finished yet).
"Patience", "Context" and "Creativity" should be the main ingredients for a strong recipe against these updates.
Yet, content and links plays a crucial role into the ranking game.
