Should I use Etsy Or Shopify?

Hello everyone,
I am planning on selling products online, but I don't know where to start selling the products...
I have seen people successful using Shopify and are making a good fortune, can I make the same fortune using Etsy or is it harder??

I don't have $1 to start a Shopify account to begin with, but I know that there is a 14 days trail for people who want to try their platform out and in the same time I can't afford to buy a domain which makes it harder to use Shopify..

Success comes from your site looks, how it converts, and how to bring in traffic. Shopify dose nothing here except that they give you a eCommerce platform and a payment gateway. I have used both Shopify and Etsy.
If i were to start a new shopping site now, I would go for WP with WooCommerce. Do you research.

I did set up a website with a free hosting, but it turned out that the hosting server got crashed after site overload and started loading slower than before..
That's why I am switching to Etsy or Shopify!

Etsy has some new good designs with their new "pattern". ANd also they will bring you free traffic as soon as you get some sales going.

If you are short on cash I don't think you have any other option besides Etsy. There are a million sellers on there but you can create a niche and make money without laying out a bunch.

It is respected, easy to navigate and I'm sure the traffic numbers are stupid good; in fact I spent about 200.00 there this week for a couple of gifts for my wife and if I'm shopping there it has to be easy to navigate.
